Delivered my first baby 14 years ago
I was scheduled for an induction at 39 weeks (don't recommend, worst pain ever)... something along the way happened after delivery where I needed to be rushed to the OR. My cervix was shredding and wouldn't hold sutures. Dr Bartell literally saved my life.

Not Recommended
In my experience, Dr. Bartell scheduled me for an induction along with a few of her other patients so that she could be home by dinnertime. When I was not done pushing close to dinnertime, she became visibly annoyed. Dr. Bartell grabbed for the episiotomy scissors without prior discussion or asking for consent in a non-emergency situation. She assisted the delivery by pulling on my son causing unnecessary damage. For context, I pushed for less than 2 hours. At my follow-up I was not examined and discovered later I was not fully healed like she had assumed. I would not recommend this birth experience.

Dr. Bartell has thfe kindest bedside manner. She is very knowledgeable and compassionate. She delivered all 3 of my babies and was absolutely amazing!
