Dr. Mitchell Finnie, MD

My last 3 doctor appointments were with 3 different providers, and I refused to return to any of them due to not being heard when I told them what I needed the most urgent help with. Those were spread over the course of 2 years, during which time I really needed care. That was not the case here. I had to see one of the nurse practitioners instead of Dr Finnie due to my needing to reschedule my first appointment here, but they were very helpful and I definitely felt that they heard what I was trying to tell them. I thanked them for this and asked if Dr Finnie was was as compassionate, and they both emphatically reassured me that he is. After reading his reviews I am certain that is true. It looks like I finally found a healthcare home. I am so grateful to have found this office! Thanks!

Dr. Finnie is not only very competent and thorough, he is also very caring. He makes every attempt to understand and get to know the patient and their personal as well as medical history. He makes time to answer your questions and help a patient deal with medical challenges. He will try to get at the cause of any problem and prescribe therapy and common sense solutions as well as prescription. He works to help a patient prevent sickness and injury as well as healing from injury and disease.

The wait to be scheduled as a new patient was well worth it. Dr. Finnie is very friendly and knowledgeable. His entire staff was efficient and very friendly. He came highly recommended and I can see why. I’ve already told friends and family how happy I am with him and his office.

Dr Finnie is caring and he seems to stay up on what’s going on and how to treat various illnesses. However there’s room for improvement with the staff. The receptionist, Diana, is curt and rude. And unfortunately she sets the tone for the visit.

Very professional, compassionate, and patient. He listened to me; his responses were concise, yet very understandable. He made a point to answer my questions fully. He is "one physician out of a hundred" on the positive side!

I have been a patient of Dr. Finnie for a year. He has taken the time to listen to my concerns and address them. He covers labs thoroughly and provides a copy with any notations he has covered regarding abnormal values. I have received excellent care and the staff has always been professional and helpful. I have utilized the online messaging system and they have responded quickly. I was with my previous PCP for almost 40 years so feel fortunate that I found Dr. Finnie.

I have worked with this office for many years. Dr. Finnie and his staff are compassionate and take the time to address patient needs. They are responsive, friendly and professional. Definitely would recommend my own family to this practice (and have)! Dr. Finnie is a down to earth physician who takes the time to understand the patient's individual needs and concerns.

Caring individual, takes the time to explain and provided me with coupons for my medication to help with the cost of them.

He doesn't return other Dr's calls or admit patients to a hospital, left hanging for ER help.

Great family doctor have been going for years.
