Dr. Mitchell Flurry, MD

Dr. Flurry performed my breast reconstruction after my mastectomy and he did an amazing job! He was very kind and listened to all my concerns without making me feel rushed. He did a great job at explaining everything before it happened. And his nursing staff was amazing as well!! Highly recommend!

Breast Reduction- This procedure being medically necessary, was very monumental to me. The day of surgery, I was very specific about what I wanted and provided reference pictures. I woke up with the cup being 3 sizes larger than what I've waited for my whole life, the nipples have been so abnormally placed- and my scars are so uneven and messy- that I am now working on a Breast RECONSTRUCTION! On TOP of feeling incredibly disfigured, disappointed, and chopped-up, Dr. Flurry said I should, 'Seek a second opinion." for his mistake. He is incredibly LUCKY that he left breast for the next surgeon.....

Dr flurry was amazing, very detailed with the reconstruction of my ear following skin cancer removal. Very thorough with explanation of every step of the process, available after hours for questions and concerns. His office staff was also helpful and caring.

I visited Dr. Flurry based on a recommendation and feel completely ripped off. Dr. Flurry completely missed the explanation I was trying to provide, suggested he was not the right person to even perform this procedure but he would if I wanted him to (...umm, no, not if you don't even think you can do it yourself). Total length of visit was maybe 2 minutes tops. Clearly is driven by money, not helping people. Stay away!! Find another doctor!!!

Dr. Flurry and all of his staff do an amazing job. I have had several reconstruction procedures and I couldn't be any happier with the results. I wouldn't go to anyone else.

I was treated as though he didn't care about my medical concern. Which required surgery to fix. His bedside manners are even worse. I did not see him before or after my surgery, nor did he or anyone from his office call to follow up to see how I was doing after major reconstructive surgery. When I brought post surgery concerns to their attention, they continually pawned me off on the other doctor who had a hand in the surgery but was not responsible for the parts that I had concerns with. I had to go back and forth several times between the two doctors offices before the other doctor took it upon herself to see me to clarify that the issues I was having were in relation to the parts of the surgery that Dr Flurry did. When I called yet again and spoke with Dr Flurry's nurse, I was met with very condescending tone and lack of empathy. Then he had the nerve to call me back, finally after 6 phone calls over a few weeks time, and told me I needed to apologize to his nurse! How dare he!

My surgery was in 2019. Dr Flurry, Mindy, and Chaz are awesome. Very thorough, very attentive. Dr Flurry did a great job and took time to answer questions. After he had gone for the day, he was kind enough to come back to the surgery facility and check on me just to make sure I was doing ok. He came highly recommended, and I am very pleased with him and his nurses.

Dr. Flurry said he could do what I asked, but then later after I had a procedure done, he backed out on the further surgeries. He would say one thing as far as how the surgery would go, & as soon as he would leave, his rude nurse would say all these bad things about the surgery to try & push me into doing something different. He did complete the one procedure (as mentioned above), & his nurse as well as him were very passive & did not want to provide follow-up care. Since then, I have been to a couple of surgeons who have both pointed out that the previous surgery has caused issues that they have seen through imaging & surgery. If you want a specific surgery done, don't want to be bullied into getting something else done, & want someone who will provide follow-up care, go somewhere else. He seems to take on more than he can handle, & his nurse is a bully (terrible bedside manner). I talked to someone at the facility about the nurse, & they said others have made similar complaints.

Dr. Flurry did not do my surgery correctly, which two surgeons have told me has led to some current issues I currently have. He did not follow through with what he said he would do. I felt very much bullied into doing a certain procedure, especially from his nurse. His nurse was very rude and not helpful at all. They did not do follow-up care after the surgery. I do not recommend if you want to have choices, follow-up care, and not have to deal with a very rude nurse who has terrible bed side manner. Look into all options.

Dr. Flurry is highly skilled and very compassionate. His staff are wonderful to work with.

He took great care me and even called to check up on me in the evening after my surgeries. I had 2 within a month. He listened to all of my concerns and helped me understand what was going on and what to expect. His nurse however, was extremely rude. I had a an infection and spent 5 days in the hospital with a pic line, the most painful surgery of my life. My family was out of town so I was alone. I called Friday to request pain meds. She didn't return my call, she lied and said I didn't answer.

Dr. Flurry seems like a competent surgeon although cool and aloof. The day of the procedure, the dark haired nurse was extremely pleasant, kind and patient. An angel. The day of stitches removal I encountered a rather unpleasant blonde nurse. She was curt and condescending and the reason I'm writing this review. Comments like "not my first rodeo", and acting as though it was pointless of me to have the mole removed and how my insurance isn't like to pay again since it wasn't cancerous.
