I have mixed feeling with this office. They charge a surcharge for using a cc (no change if you pay cash also) don't call for reminders of appts, and they make you call for blood work results. All of that is not standard in today's medical care offices. The actual doctor does call you back though so that's a plus. You don't speak t a nurse or assistant. He's very..flat. Felt like pulling teeth to get more info. I understand my issue may not be as life threatening as many of his other patients but at least see me as a human with concerns and questions on my health and not a symptom or a textbook. Not a lot of conversation and not a warm feeling when speaking with him. Maybe he does a great job if you have a serious issue but I don't know how much empathy or understanding you'd get. After my last re-check I'll see a different doctor if my PCP requires me to return to a hematologist.

I felt that I was in good hands with Dr. Folbe and his staff . He always received my phone messages and he always called me back. He listens to you and works well with others in regards to your treatment plan. I can't say anything negative about him only good. .

Dr. Folbe is a wonderful doctor. My situation was extremely complicated and he did a great job explaining it to me. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing hematology / oncology care.

Dr. Folbe is very sterile and non specific. He has a whatever attitude and it's like getting blood out of a turnip to get answers. His follow-up is very poor and non caring. He is there for the money, not the patient!
