Throat damage
He was my anesthesiologist during my 5 hour surgery 11 months ago. I woke up with an extreme sore throat and a uvula swollen to over twice its size. This took 3 weeks to resolve. I also was spitting up blood for several days and had a dry cough for months afterward. Now whenever my airway gets the least bit irritated (e.g. by the lack of humidity in Las Vegas) I develop a cough that lasts for weeks. I'm convinced this can be traced back to the damage that was done during the surgery. Clearly something went wrong, but I wasn't told about it.
