Dr. Nejad is attentive, skilled, and excellent in every way. She has done cataract surgery on my husband and now me, and it went perfectly both times. She explains everything well and spends the time needed to answer all questions, the whole process is very well organized, and the results couldn't be better.

The cataract on my left eye was very thick and needless to say one has doubts about those operations, because one knows - so many things can go wrong. But when we fall into the hands of a great specialist who loves his/her job, as Dr.Nejad does, one can sleep with ease. She fixes our eyes with precision.I am highly satisfied with the whole procedure and my vision today is somewhere close to perfection, literally 20/20 vision. The whole stuff is highly professional at UCLA Stein Institute. Thank You.

Outstanding! Dr. Nejad performed a complicated cataract surgery on me, made more difficult because I had previously had Lasix and CK procedures as well. Right from the first conversation, she made me feel extremely confident that I had chosen a doctor who was extremely well qualified. Her patient and personable demeanor assured me she was fully capable of performing the complex operation. She walked me through every detail of what to expect before, during, and after the surgery, and clearly outlined what I needed to do for optimal healing. A highlight for me as a patient (and a retired RN) was that Dr. Nejad and her surgical team all greeted me at the entrance to the surgical theatre. Not only was it very comforting to this patient, it was something that I do not recall ever seeing in any other hospital. The results of the surgery were beyond expectations.

Dr.Nejad performed Cataract Surgery and Glaucoma Therapy all in one procedure plus Laser Refractive Surgery on both eyes, four weeks apart. I could see clearly the very next day! My vision is so very clear and I can see better now than I ever did. Dr. Nejad is extremely knowledgeable, observant, investigative and decisive. She gave me her undivided attention plus she’s friendly with a great sense of humor. In my opinion, Dr. Nejad is a miracle worker. I highly recommend her to my family and friends. Dr. Nejad was fantastic! I recently had lasik eye surgery and was very nervous and apprehensive about the process. Not only did she put me at ease, but explained everything with great care and detail. I definitely recommend her for anyone considering laser corrective surgery.

I recently had cataract surgery on both eyes, three weeks apart. Dr. Nejad first discussed not only every option I had to improve my eyesight, but what benefits and/or issues each option came with. Dr. Nejad also took into account my age, what hobbies I had, what work I was in and my overall health. I was extremely comfortable with her decisions and trusted her judgements. It has been approximately three weeks since the surgery and I could not be happier. I cannot recommend Dr. Nejad enough!

Excellent ophthalmologist! I had a great experience during my Lasik procedure. I was quite nervous and Dr. Nejad patiently walked me through each step multiple times before, during, and after the surgery. She has a superb bedside manner and made sure all of my questions were answered. She also responds to my messages within the day and was readily available to see me same day for an issue I had. Highly recommended!
