Genius
I’ve never had a neurologist be as thorough as Dr. Haykal. I’m used to doctors coming in and out in 5 minutes or less if they can manage it. This was the first appointment. He spent a lot of time with me. He’s pretty funny, too. He pulled up my last MRI and was so emerged in it that I think he forgot that we were still there. He explained my condition in a very understanding way. He was able to give me the true name of one of my seizures. I used to always call it the deja vu but the term is focal seizures. Neurologists in the past looked at me like I was crazy. It’s nice to get answers. Dr. Haykal is a good guy and astonishingly smart about brains. I got really lucky.

Dr. Haykal, is awesome. Very intelligent. He was one of the doctors, who took care of me in the Epilepsy monitoring unit. His knowledge of the brain leaves me in sheer amazement. He knows the brain so well, one would think he created it… he’s that good! You have a question, he’s got the RIGHT answer/s. He was one of the doctors who cared for me while in the EMU awaiting surgery. Now he is my Neurologist…. and I couldn’t be happier with him.

Dr. Haykal is very attentive to his patients. He readily answers both patient's and other coordinating health care providers. Very through in his explanations. Though his first language is not English, he is very affluent and easy to understand. He will see you even if you're unable to schedule an appointment if he feels you need to be seen.

He is the best neurologists i have ever had. He has been more knowledgeable and helpful about helping me figure out what is causing my seizures and the best way to stop them (as best as possible). He have only been my neurologists for a year and i learned more from him than any other on i have seen the past 4 years.

Amazing! I've seen many many doctors and neurologist for my seizures and he is definitely the best one. He is so smart and very thorough. He knows exactly what he's talking about!
