This man has absolutely no bed side manner. My mother had a stroke and he was down right deeming. He attributed everything to stress. He went as far as to tell her that if she didn't like it she could get a second opinion. DOWN RIGHT RUDE!!!

Dr. Summakia has a horrendous bedside manner. He is abrasive, snobby, rude, and outright disrespectful. He doesn't deserve the title of Medical Doctor if he is going to yell at patients and their families when asking the most simplest of questions in a polite way. Don't see him if you have the choice, there are plenty of other Neurologists in the Denton-DFW area so do yourself a favor and see someone else.

I have been seeing Dr. Summakia for years now and I've never had a bad experience with him or Rachelle! It's because of him that I got my life back after he found I had a brain tumor. He took my symptoms seriously and cared about my results. I've been seeing him for my migraines and post op care too. I cannot recommend him enough!

My visit to Dr. Summakia's office was above and beyond what I could have imagined! Rachelle at the front desk was friendly, upbeat, and extremely helpful in answering all my questions before my visit. Dr. Summakia was professional, attentive, and really knew what he was talking about. I left feeling so confident in his abilities and will definitely be recommending him in the future. Thank you!!

Our initial visit after a stroke was positive but it went down hill fast afterwards. When the woman at the checkin called us to give us news on the CT scan she also provided us medication information that conflicted with the initial visit. The Dr didn’t call back, she did and we were told to follow what ever the PCP suggested even though this was not her expertise. When the Dr requested a holter heart monitor for 90 days and insurance would only approve this in 45 days increments, again he washed his hands of it and said to do whatever the cardiologists wanted. When I called about unusual symptoms, the woman called me again and said he just said to go to the hospital. When my dentist called him for advice due to a dental work that was needed he again refused to do his job and referred my dentist to my PCP, which resulted me in having complications. This Dr has no experience with stroke and should have been professional enough to admit it or he was completely a jerk. Found a new Dr
