Love love love Dr. Mo Tantawi! He is truly one of the kindest human beings you will ever meet. He is patient. He takes time with us. You can tell that he really genuinely cares about his patients. That isn't something you can fake. We used to go to a different practice when our first child was born. We were so unhappy because the doctor used to rush us in and out and never seemed to really care. We switched to Dr. Mo based on recommendations from three different friends. We are so glad we did. We now bring our 3 children to him and have always felt that we are getting the best care. The staff are friendly. And we've met the other docs and like them very much. He is a busy doc which is a reflection of how many patients love him and are loyal to him. But the interactions are quality. And the advice is always solid. And in the end we leave each visit feeling our children are in the best care. Thank you Dr. Mo!!!

We had Dr. Tantawi as our kids doc. Probably, in 1.5 yrs, he saw the kids twice. All other appointments are with physicians of his group. We were ok with that, as when the appointment was with him, it was a 5 min appointment. Our frustration with him was highest when our son had a health issue and he could not even call to ask how he was. A staff member called two days later. No single word from him.

Very good doctor. I wouldn't take my kids to anyone else.

Dr. Mohamed Tantawi is by far the best pediatrician I've come across. I've taken my baby to multiple other doctors and none have had the same level of knowledge, confidence, competency and kindness he displays at EVERY visit. I'm so happy my friend recommended him to us and I will gladly recommend him to anyone looking for a great doctor!

The review of Nicole from Hackensack is highly inaccurate. I have been bringing my three children to this office for 21 years. Dr. Tantawi and Dr. Mo Tantawi and the entire staff throughout these 21 years have been nothing but kind and considerate. Occasionally there is a wait to see a doctor, however I understand there may be patients in greater need of medical care. The medical care I have received for my three children over 21 years is unparalleled. I highly recommend this office!

Dr. Mo is an absolutely outstanding pediatrician! I have been bringing my children who are now in high school since they were infants. Dr. Mo has been there for us every step of the way through each & every stage. His greatest assets are that he cares & listens. His bedside manner is incredible. Dr. Tantawi is arrogant and condescending. When challenged, he lacks the basic ability to listen. This is an essential skill for any physician. He instead talks over the parent and vehemently shares his testimony as to how he is genuine, honest, and became a pediatrician for these very reasons. He is reactive instead of proactive, and consequently the practice is inefficient at best.

We met Dr. Mo at a Lamaze class at the hospital and were so impressed with his depth of knowledge but also how he listened with compassion and concern. We have been a part of Hackensack Pediatrics for 12 + years. We couldn't be more grateful for the level of care we receive, their patience, understanding and gentle approach. Dr. Mo takes time to address our questions and concerns and has always provided helpful guidance that has carried us through some very challenging times.

My ‘children’ are now 25, 23 and 17. I brought the youngest in to see Dr Mo today since he’s been having stomach issues which we think may be related to a bad breakup with the gfriend. Dr Mo was soooo fabulous, he said all the right things and really got my son to talk about the situation a bit. Dr Mo missed his calling. He could be a therapist! Thank you!!!!

You can't go wrong with Dr. Mo! He is a stellar doctor and a phenomenal diagnostic doctor. He is skilled and professional and takes his time during examinations to explain everything in a clear and concise manner. In addition, his office provides same day appointments when your child is sick which is a huge lifesaver. I don't live near Hackensack, but I refuse to take my children anywhere else because of the care they receive from Dr. Mo!

Highly recommended. Dr. Mo is awesome. We never feel rushed and our kids absolutely love him. Even though we moved further away, we continue to travel to Hackensack for both well and sick visits. Great doctor and friendly staff.

I could not feel more lucky or blessed to have found Dr. Mo to be our family's pediatrician. I switched to this practice 3 years ago with my 4 kids. Dr. Mo picked up on a serious heart condition on my 9 year old that the previous doc somehow missed. My teenage son absolutely loves and trusts him. My 9 year old thinks he is so cool. And my 4 year old daughter adores him. There is just something so special about Dr. Mo that is hard to put into words. He is so kind and smart and genuinely cares.
