Nothing but praise from here
I have been seeing Dr. Mohammed Al-Shroof since 2007. I developed a DVT and he was the in call at the hospital. He made me very comfortable and suggested if I didn’t already have a doctor he would be happy to take on my case after being released from the hospital, due to the rareness of where the DVT was at. His office staff tried to turn me down due to kind of insurance. I saw Dr. Al-Shroof walking past and advised him of the situation. He walked over to his staff and advised them(politely)he was seeing me and they would take my insurance. I have/had lot of medical conditions taken care of by him and his Medical staff. Gerald Peterman( sadly no longer affiliated), Doreen Abrigo, Erica Burnett, and Tomika Martin. They are all very thorough, polite, understanding, and will explain anything you ask. If anyone has an issue of them not going over their prognoses/ condition, then they have not asked any questions. If you ask they will explain and be more in-depth if you don’t understand.

I have visited the office twice and the 2 physician assistants I saw were extremely nice and helpful. However, the prescriptions they wrote require prior authorization by my insurance company. I have called twice a week for 6 weeks requesting they send the paperwork to my insurance company and they will not return my messages or submit the required paperwork. On another prescription, they failed to write directions, so my pharmacy cannot fill the prescription. Again, they will not return my calls (or the pharmacist, or my insurance company's calls), so I'm left with useless prescriptions that cannot be filled. In desperation, I have also left messages for the office manager for over a week and she will also not return my calls. What's the point of seeing a doctor if their office staff is incapable of returning calls and completing the required paperwork. If you may need medication, find another doctor, this office is sure to mess up the prescription and not return your calls.

I would like to take this time to offer my profound thanks to Dr Al-Shroof Muhammed and his team of professionals for a fine job they did when I visited them. I had this long standing severe sinus probelm since Nov 20, 2020. Everything I did from taking prescribed steriods, taking over the counter sinus pills, to severe nasal spay mists did not seem to help. I was runnig out of options for my life was begining to be like I could no longer breath through the nose but the mouth. It literally made my life miserable. On top of that I have a long standing inability to get proper sleep at night. As if this sleep condition wasn't bad enough to deal with now I had this sinus problem which compounded my inability to sleep. In comes Dr A-Shroof Muhammed. He took me off of the addictive sinus sprays i was taking, provided me with a shot in the hip, gave me advice and sent me on my way. The following night I spent literally all the night not sleeping for I couldn't breath. The next mornin

Only interested in making money, staff was the worst I’ve ever experienced. The make you sign contracts. And if you get hospitalized that contract is then voided and you are no longer a patient.

Dr Al-Shroof is knowledgeable but you never see him. It's only his NP's. They'd been seeing my better half for over a year & drops her saying "too complex of a patient." That's fine & good, BUT he does this during COVID19 pandemic where finding another Dr. is impossible! A SORRY, LOW down move by him! If you've got a cold or seeking an RX, they'll gladly see you every month!

My entire adult family sees Dr Al-Shroof, and we've been going to his practice for over 7 years. While there are NP's in the office, if you ask for the doc, he will come in. He is funny, nice, attentive, and helped me through a very difficult & scary diagnosis with complete confidence. If I ever have any issues with front office staff, the doc is willing to listen and address any concerns himself. I am overall very pleased to be a patient of this practice!

Had a 2:15 PM appointment after seeing one of his many General Practitioners yesterday without an appointment with a hematuria condition. After waiting almost 30 minutes in the main waiting room, I went back to the window to complain...I was assurred they would be right with me by some young lady...after a few more minutes I went back to the window that had a tacky sign taped to it saying Please do NOT open or knock on the window which I didn't...but I noticed a young man answered & cance

I have been seeing Dr.Al-SHROOF and his Nurse Ms Erika Burnett for the past two years. All I can say are positive things. They care for my well being and try all preventions to help me. I will not go to another doctor. Appointment times are easily made and I can usually be seen within a day or two.

He seems to be competent but his office billing is questionable. I went in for a specific problem and was billed for a complete yearly work up. Instruction on weight and smoking. Never got. They took it off my bill when I questioned it. Went in for a follow up on cholesterol and mentioned, when asked, that I was receiving help with depression. Medicare was charged for a depression consult by them. The billing of this office is very inventive. Check your bills, specially those billed to insurance
