Very thorough and personable. Let me explain my condition & issues before he put his spin on the matter. Took X-rays of my thumb and walked me through the reasons why I was having pain & what could be done to address it. Suggested gels, PT, shot. I chose the shot. Hurts today, but he told me it would, no surprise. Feel like I’m in good hands.

I was very pleased with Dr K. I have never had to visit a hand Dr before and I wasn’t sure what to expect. The nurse and X-ray technician were very friendly and I was quite comfortable and not nervous. Dr. K was very friendly with a brilliant smile and made sure I was at ease. No I am not a nervous person, but I believe the best experience starts with how one is treated. He explained the use of the notes system he was using, and he asked me questions about my concerns. I was quite comfortable sharing my concerns and he worked with me to make sure I don’t enter into surgery prematurely and explained all options available to me. I feel good about our mutual decision. Liked his exam room manner: he was friendly and did a thorough explanation of the possible problem with my thumb and suggested several paths to dealing with it. I chose to have a steroid injection and later followed it up at home with a thumb brace, which did the trick with my issue. Very pleased and would go back if any other hand issues arise.

Take time to explain to me

The doctor was very sensitive to what was bothering me. He was able to determine what c was causing me pain and gave me a cortisone shot which gave me immediate relief.

My wife told me to quit complaining about the pain in my hands and see the doctor so we made an appointment. I was very satisfied with the doctor. He’s very professional and explained using the x-rays of what was causing the pain in my hands and fingers. I am definitely going to try therapy with my hands first and see where that takes us. I would definitely recommend a doctor to other friends and family.

He was an excellent perfersonall that took quick action and provide recommendations for treatment and was ready right away to execute them.

He took his time to explain step by step the upcoming surgery. I found him very attentive and compassionate. I've since visited him after surgery, and he is a truly a caring provider.
