Dr. Ammar is GREAT. He's an outstanding physician. Takes time to answer all your questions and very thorough with each and every patient. I've had a whirlwhind of GI issues and he's always eager to help. Very kind and sweet nursing staff. Would recommend for all your GI needs. Thanks for the last 3 years of great service.

This was the worst experience at a medical facility I’ve ever experienced and I’m included the three times I gave birth. Awful. His bedside manner is non-existent and gave information that was just incorrect. Go to anyone else.

Dr Ammar is great! He has always taken his time with us and our son. Always answered any questions we’ve had and never rushed through his answers. Highly recommend this Dr and his staff. I can’t quite understand all the negative reviews, he has always been GREAT with us! Sometimes it might be a bit of a wait at our appointments, but totally worth it to see a good Dr!!

My son had a brutal time as a baby with choking, gagging, and vomiting, and nobody could tell us why. We finally switched to a great doctor and she referred us to Dr. Ammar. From day one he has been fantastic with my son and discovered the root of the problems he was having. My son is four years old now and doing so much better. I’m so thankful for Dr. Ammar and the team at his office. They are all so kind to my son and he really enjoys going to his appointments.

We were referred to Dr. Ammar after our son's choking incident led us to the ER. Over the past year, Dr. Ammar has been a great source of patience and knowledge to diagnose our son's Eosinophilic Esophagitis and discover the source. He has taken time to answer all of my questions and is patient with my need for clarification. He has a great rapport with our son and includes him in the medical process. We are thankful to have Dr. Ammar on what has been an otherwise stressful medical journey.

Dr Ammar and his staff have been the best healthcare provider we’ve had in the last 5 years over 4 children. The Friendliness, follow up and genuine concern they show for my son has been encouraging as we’ve had to deal with some issues. I know we are in safe and more and capable hands when ever we see them.

New patient visit for my 16 year old daughter. He was funny, professional, explained everything so that she understood. She was scheduled for outpatient procedures for the following week. He saw her prior to procedures and came to discuss with me immediately after.

Dr. Ammar is wonderful! Yes, he does tend to run behind, but I think that is because he spends time with his patients doing thorough examinations and listening to our problems and concerns. I don't know about you, but I would rather wait for a doctor who genuinely cares for my daughters well being, than someone who rushes through appointments to stay on schedule. His whole staff is VERY helpful and friendly and has gone above and beyond for us! I don't usually write reviews, but after reading all of the bad ones, I can't help but think it's because people don't take time to write good reviews. I almost didn't go here because of the reviews and I am so glad it was the only one my insurance would cover, because our experience has been wonderful!

Dr. Ammar is textbook with no personal skills or bedside manners. From the moment he walked through the door, he was condescending with us and made our daughter very uncomfortable. He shows no compassion to the patient nor does he speak well with children, putting them Arnold ease. He’s even worse with his communications with parents, we left put appointment feeling very uneasy and will not be moving forward using this doctor. Also, on a side note, time management is terrible, wait time was 2hr

First appointment was scheduled at 10:30 a.m. but the doctor showed up at 1:p.m. He didnt apologies at all for been so late. Didnt show any compasion or sensibility to my daughter. Today we were schedule for a colonoscopy at 8:30 a.m. At the hospital we learned that the appointment was rescheduled and my daughter has to wait until late afternoon. No body called us to inform about it. Also the staff said that he usedto do this to his patients. I dont recommend Dr. Ammar at all. The worse!

Our second visit was terrible. We arrived a few minutes early. After an hour of waiting to be called back my 2 yo was getting restless and I was getting a bit irritated. The desk called the MA. I ask why it took until 11am for a 10am appt. She said because it was a specialty clinic. She got rude when I pressed her for a better answer. Two managers came in to smooth things out with conflicting reasons. One said they had late patients, the other unexpected ones. The doctor finally came in at 11:45

Dr. Ammar seems to be knowledgeable however, i didn’t see a true compassion for children. Dr. Ammar is more matter of fact. I would have liked to have seen him be more personal with my child. The staff has not done well at returning phone calls. I’ve had to call twice, on two separate occasions now. I do not appreciate this and it’s very unprofessional.

Dr. Ammar is a caring physician. He takes the time to explain issues and encourages questions. He and his staff are always welcoming and professional. He (they) talk to my child vs. at him. In the past, I was made to feel like I made mistakes with my child but thanks to Dr. Ammar and his team, my faith has been restored in doctors.
