I was just in the hospital and finally demanded to see a neurologist. I had brought a referral from my top neurosurgeon at Georgetown for films and referralsrral to a local Orthopedic. I’ve had aMod TBI and back injuries which have led to many complications and in 2020 My whole spine was fused in 3,5 months and I got Covid from my rehab center. I have chronic trochanteric bursitis which is suddenly aggravated and it goes down my left leg. Suddenly my right leg let go, so I was brought to the closest hospital. I was assigned to a poor internal medicine dr who ignored this and worked me up for a week for a stroke and I asked for a neurologist , be careful what you ask for. He whipped out his tuning fork and asked what it was. Never checked my hips nor my legs. No exam as to why I suddenly & still can’t bear weight and he was gone. No questions asked just documented ‘no need for neurology. ‘ Seriously? These are the doctors who can’t help a private practice just act like ambulance chaser
