Great medical expert, not so great Doctor
Dr. Ghani is very smart about his medical practice, but he is not very good at caring/empathizing with his patients or giving them the information so they can make a decision on their own. My experience with him has been that he tells you what he’s going to do. He may tell you why, but when he does he doesn’t take the time to make sure his patient has an understanding of what is going on if they didn’t understand it right off the bat. It seems like he just thinks what he says should be done and will be done. At times he even seems annoyed that the patient has any questions or wants to understand what he his telling him.

Amazing doctor . He did my husbands Mitral Valve Clip a few years ago. It has helped him greatly. I would recommend him to everyone. His staff is awesome also.

My husband has had the new TAVR with Dr. Ghani doing the surgery. Excellent physician, excellent bed side manner and personality. He is very down to earth and cares about his patients and their families.

Asking for an appointment after hospital release and new medication got me hurt feelings.I called three times over a period of days, while being told the nurse would call me back. My urgency was a racing heart. My meds had to be approved, so that was the reason for so many calls. The nurse ripped me about missed appointments @ anti-coag. That nurse was aware of the reasons and we rescheduled.Transport was improved, but I was dismissed as patient. Hosp, Dr. , Nrsg staff, ..excellent.
