Dr. Hamshow removed my stomach because I had stomach cancer. He came to visit me everyday while I was in the hospital. On one occasion he asked if I had my daily walk around the hospital. When I told him I had an argument with the physical therapist he put on a pair of gloves, grabbed my sneakers, put them on me and told me to get up. Dr. Hamshow helped me get out of bed and walked me around the entire hospital floor. He told me he will look into the incident and the next day came back to tell me he will be taking me for my daily exercise at the same time as the day before.

I'd like to thank Dr. Hamshow for saving my mother's life. He has an incredible bedside manner, and really put my mother at ease. He is a highly skilled and intelligent surgeon. He has my utmost confidence and I highly recommend him. My mother didn't feel like walking much after the surgery so Dr. Hamshow would come to her room and take her walking with him Now that's a caring Doctor. I thank God for Dr. Hamshow and wish him nothing but the best

Sometimes in life, we find ourselves on unfamiliar ground. It is during these moments of vulnerability, we seek the advice of those we trust. For us, it was Dr. Hamshow. His capable hands and compassionate heart instilled a sense of hope. We are sooo incredibly thankful to him...and his dynamic team. Together, their tireless efforts enabled my family to celebrate the holidays and welcome a new year with the matriarch of our family...my mother.

Dr. Hamshow saved my husband's life both medically and emotionally with his ongoing care and motivational encouragement. He never gave up even when the ICU doctors did. He is a very compassionate person who truly cares about his patients and provides excellent care and follow up. Even the residents asked what we appreciated about Dr. Hamshow so they could copy his ways. I'm a nurse since 1981 and this has never happened before.
