Run...
Run like your life depends upon it. Quality and level of medical is scary. This doctor lied right to my face about the meds they had my father on. His notes were not in the system (conformed by the nurses). He literally just saw my father in the ER and had to look through patient notes to answer any questions, which were the prior notes entered. He had no medical plan for recovery, no indication of how long my father might be in the under medical care. This was all due to simple dehydration and he could not have cared less. Arrogant, does like or appreciate patient advocacy and definitely needs to get any level of bedside manner

Rude
The most coldest nastiest doctor to ever speak with. Condescending extremely rude with no compassion for a patient at all. Very sneaky doesn’t look at the whole picture only sees what he wants to see. Even if there is a different illness, he doesn’t count that. Doesn’t let you finish a sentence or cares about your concerns. He shouldn’t be practicing medicine. Or be a doctor to speak to patients or their family members. He shouldn’t be working the floor with patients who have cancer or very bad diseases. He shows no care for the patient or family member.

Holyer than thow
He doesn't listen to you because he thinks he is smarter than you. Possibly the rudest doctor I've ever come across as a patient, and I've seen quite a few. Baystate makes themselves look bad by having this guy on staff

Dr. Rahman made a big mistake in my case which has cost me precious time in getting to a treatment plan. When asked about his error, he was evasive and refused to take responsibility, though the error was clearly his fault. Avoid this doctor if you can, he is a hospitalist and may be assigned to you if you end up at Baystate or Mercy, you would be wise to avoid him and refuse him as your hospitalist. He is disreputable.
