Called him personally to get a prior authorization for out of network for my father. Given the condition my father is in he told me I have to call the insurance myself to start. I am a nurse I started everything and know first hand the PCP office needs to handle these and yes i already called insurance and told the so called doctor his office needed to start it but he kept saying NO. He didn’t even offer to give me his staffs number to call tomorrow. Basically told me my father is going to die soon anyways and they can’t do nothing. No sympathy for patients or their family let alone not wanting to do work and telling patients to call themselves knowing they are responsible to start a out of network auth being my fathers PCP. I’m disgusted, disgusting bedside manner to have as a physician too bad I couldn’t give him ZERO stars.
