From beginning to end, Dr. Ali and his staff were polite, professional, and very knowledgeable. It is so refreshing to see how well the practice runs, offering top notch services at a time when patients need reassuring care. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Dr. Ali totally missed my 18 yr old son's advancing Crohn's disease, in spite of being told of a family history. He never performed the simplest of diagnostic tests which could have indicated that symptoms were in fact Crohn's disease. Instead, he referred my son for unnecessary surgical procedure. This only allowed the disease to progress untreated until, thankfully, a skilled NP in the Cleveland Clinic system recognized the symptoms. My son was hospitalized, properly diagnosed, stabilized, and is finally doing well, albeit tethered to Inflixamab infusions every 6 weeks.

I had been dreading a colonoscopy procedure due to bad experiences elsewhere in the past. But every aspect from beginning to end was excellent and far exceeded my expectations. Every encounter with each staff person was great, and each was helpful and friendly and seemed personally concerned for my well-being. Dr. Ali listened to my comments or questions closely and gave thorough answers that put my mind at rest. No post operative pain. Follow up with biopsy results was prompt and detailed. I could not have asked for more from this excellent doctor and his wonderful staff.

I had a colonoscopy 9/9/21 and had 4 polyps.I was told they were sent for a biopsy which would take 5-7 days.I have not received any report on the outcome.My calls to Dr Ali have not been returned.

The whole colonoscopy process at the 5530 Wisconsin facility seemed very safe and reassuring. The nurses are wonderful and so is Dr. Ali. They have thought through what needs to be done to keep themselves and their patients safe. I am so glad I didn’t delay this exam any longer.

It was that time of year again - the dreaded colonoscopy. I have been a patient of Dr. Ali for several years and he is the only doctor I will consider. Summarizing only some of his skills: he is consistently professional, knowledgeable, attentive, and courteous. He stays well informed in his practice area. I have not met a doctor finer than Dr. Ali. And he has an outstanding and attentive staff.

Dr. Ali is what you hope every doctor is like. I was in lots of distress having seen so many doctors and Dr. Ali patiently listened, went through my symptoms, provided explanations for probable causes and eliminations, and made me feel like a patient that was receiving actual proper care! Can’t recommend him enough.

Dr Ali is very deliberative and thoughtful. Excellent manner answering questions and obviously very informed. I asked him about a recent study I read in the NYT and he was aware of the issues and was not down putting when I raised them. His confidence comes across as a calming presence — nothing boastful about his leadership style in the surgery!

I recently had an unsedated colonoscopy with Dr. Ali and the experience was as pleasant as a colonoscopy can be. Dr. Ali discussed my preference for the unsedated procedure with me, explained the benefits of sedation, and then agreed to the unsedated colonoscopy when I expressed that I still preferred to be awake for the procedure. The colonoscopy itself went very smoothly. He educated me as the procedure was in process and his deft technique resulted in a very tolerable event. I won't schedule them for fun, but I'd definitely go back to Dr. Ali for another unsedated colonoscopy in the future if/when I need one.

Dr. Ali takes time to explain carefully what is going on, and he listens. He is clearly committed to an unusual extent to make sure care of his patients is on track. In the last couple weeks he has called me twice in the evening, first, on a Sunday, to make sure that I was cleared and OK for procedures the next day, and second, to give me timely reports on biopsy results. Also, he gave me RX for a med I was buying OTC, to save me money.

Dr. Ali is the rare combination of skill, knowledge, experience and compassion. From the moment I first met him, I felt relaxed and in the best possible hands. This isn’t an easy way to feel when you realize you are facing a colonoscopy, a procedure that makes most of us more than a little anxious. Now, having just had the procedure, I can attest that my quickly positive reaction to him was totally confirmed. I highly recommend Dr. Ali.
