Fantastic Doctor
Telehealth
Dr Ali is one of a kind. The most relevant thing I can say is that he truly cares...because he is a good human being besides being a well-trained up-to-date physician. I have been his patient for over a decade. I moved to Orlando three years ago but still receive consultations and treatment from him. We consult via tele-medicine and i travel to the office for bi-annual infusions at his in-house infusion center. I tried two rheumatologists in Orlando and let me tell you, I only missed Dr. Ali more.I have to admit, the phone response has always been an issue and keeping staff is a problem everywhere, but just be patient and keep calling. He is worth it. It is a cozy office where staff gets to know you. You don't feel lost in a big system. It has been a joy to have a doctor who is caring, respectful, personable and knows his 'stuff'.I count Dr Ali and his practice as a blessing in my life.

No answer. No voicemail. Forget it.
I’ve called three different times during business hours to make a first time appointment and I get a machine that loops back to itself!!! There’s no way to even leave a message...really??? That’s absurd. Not a good sign. Three strikes and you’re out, as the saying goes. I’m looking for another rheumatologist.

Excellent Doctor
Dr. Ali is an excellent doctor in a city of mediocre doctors. I have had two other mediocre Rheumatologists in Tampa in the past few years when a fellow healthcare professional recommended him to me. He is up to date with all the newest tests for diagnosis and also offers complementary/integrative treatment options, if that is something you want to try. Dr. Ali is personable and truly cares. He gives you ample time and explains things very well. He is willing to not just jump straight to immunosuppressants. He thinks out-of-the box, which is rare these days. Additionally, he has worked me in (for both telehealth and in-person visits) when I have been flaring up.

My friend went to Dr. Ali. He listened to my friend explain her several health problems. Instead of addressing each one, Dr. Ali just wanted to prescribe medical marijuana to her. When she was not interested in that option, he just dismissed her concerns.

Horrible bedside manner and does not care about his patients, just the money. Never follows up and his staff is constantly changing. It says a lot when a doctor cannot keep good staff on hand.

He was the only one in Ohio to diagnose my Lupus and my daughters' Undifferentiated Connective Tissue. He did the Advise test, that no one else would do.. and did x rays on her to rule out other autoimmune diseases! He will be missed.

What a wonderful experience we found in going to this "new doctor". He does not rush you "in and out" and explains in detail what his plan of treatment will be...lab tests, etc. After test results. he is very thorough in his description of those results and his plan of action to get you on the road to recovery. What a "breath of fresh air" for patients in the Tampa area!!!!

I went to my husbands appointment with him and Dr Ali was great. Caring, took his time, listened to our concerns. Fast forward a few days to my appointment and it was the complete opposite experience. He was dismissive, didn't answer any questions, and did not document anything we discussed or what he found with his head to toe exam. He did a complete staff change when he bought the practice from Dr Zable.
