Most Difficult Tooth? Challenge Accepted!”
I had my wisdom tooth removed yesterday by Dr. Mohammed Qaisi—and let me just say, he deserves a medal (or at least a really great review)! My case wasn’t an easy one: the tooth had a tricky root that refused to come out without a fight. But Dr. Qaisi handled it like a total pro. Here’s the fun part—I was literally taking selfies and videos during the surgery! That’s how comfortable and painless the whole thing was. Who knew wisdom tooth extraction could be selfie-worthy?Dr. Qaisi made the entire experience smooth, reassuring, and honestly kind of fun. His calm energy, gentle technique, and amazing team kept me relaxed the whole time. I couldn’t believe it was over so fast.If you’re anxious about wisdom teeth (especially complicated ones), trust me—you’re in the best hands with Dr. Qaisi. I came out smiling... and filming.

Better Than A Kardashian Surgeon
I love Dr. Qaisi! He saved my face, my jawbone, and my teeth. I had Ameloblastoma of the left manible and he helped me remove the tumor and reconstruct the jaw with an iliac crest procedure. of His bedside manner is second to none, and the quality of his work speaks for itself. I love the new office. It’s so beautiful and clean and welcoming. The staff makes you feel right at home. Look no further! The best oral surgeon in Chicago is here!

Wonderful surgeon with a big heart
Wanted to add to the long list of appreciation on here. In 2023 I was diagnosed with a benign tumor in the maxilla, it ran right underneath my nose. I would say it was about the size of a peach pit. I was 22 at the time, and terrified. Dr. Qaisi was VERY straight forward, but kind. Surgical removal and reconstruction was the best option. I got my surgery early January 2024, which included a graft from my pelvis. It went well. He was so wonderful, when Dr.Q gave my family the news, my mom said she immediate broke down in tears and he gave her a hug. She still remarks today that it meant a lot to her. It’s been almost a year since then and you can’t even tell I had surgery. People think I just knocked my teeth out in a fight (lol). He was there through every step of the process, from reconstruction to implants. It means the world to me not having to jump between doctors for my care. Dr.Qaisi is a saint and just a wonderful person. I hope he reads these comments (you’re amazing Dr. Q)

Dr. Qaisi is mild mannered, thorough in his explanations of pre and post surgical procedures, and a very skilled surgeon. He performed a left marginal mandibulectomy and left neck disection on me during a seven hour procedure. I am eight months post surgery and progressing well. I see Dr. Q monthly for post operative examinations and evaluations. The visits enable me to ask and get answers to all my many questions; Dr. Q answers those questions thoroughly and patiently. The follow up visits are evidence of his dedication to his patients. I have the utmost confidence in his diagnostic and surgical skills and would highly recommend him.

Thankful for Dr. Qaisi
Dr. Qaisi was recommended to me by Dr. Sean Moghaddam, in Orland Park, after my oral cancer diagnosis. Dr. Moghaddam said 'if one of my family members or I had an oral cancer diagnosis, Dr. Qaisi is the person I would recommend.' I couldn't agree anymore. Dr. Q treated my husband and I with genuine respect and concern. He was thorough, provided clear explanations, and answered all of our questions. I was diagnosed with Stage IV cancer and had extensive surgery on my lower left jaw to remove the cancer. In addition to removing affected area, he removed several lymph nodes and did a neck dissection. Dr. Q or one of his residents visited me in the hospital every single day, some days both Dr. Q, along with one or two residents visited. He continued to answer our questions and was always available. I am confident in his skills, his team, and treatment plan as I continue with my treatment going forward.

Cheek cancer
During a regular dental cleaning, my dentist recognized a small spot on the inside of my cheek. To everybody’s surprise, biopsy results showed cancer. I was referred to Dr. Qaisi by a relative. From the very first impression through elaborate diagnostics, and of course entire surgical treatment and rehabilitation Dr. Qaisi personally took care of me along the way. He was very informative, meticulously explained all the details, the convalescence after the surgery was also carefully monitored by him personally. I could not have dreamt of a better specialist maxillofacial surgeon to treat me. I highly recommend him to everyone who is in need of any head and neck pathology treatment Thank you Dr Qaisi!

The surgery and after care were excellent. He treated me like a person, not a patient. He and his whole staff treated me and my family so well. Communication and follow up were completed quickly and clearly. I am so grateful to have found a physician like Dr.Qaisi.

Dr. Mohammed Qaisi operated on me for oral cancer on September 6, 2022. When I first met Dr. Qaisi he immediately put me at ease by listening to me and was sympathetic to my needs and concerns. He has been my doctor for almost a year now and during each visit he answers all my questions and concerns and I leave his office feeling confident. Reconstructive Surgery
I had an aggressive tumor involving my lower jaw, called Ameloblastoma. Dr. Qaisi performed Surgery on me, and removed a portion of my jaw , and then used bone from my leg, Fibula Flap, to reconstruct my lower jaw. I am a praying man, and thank "God" for a doctor who is a man of his word. A doctor who is talented, accessible, and most of all compassionate. A doctor who is humble with a unique set of skills that only , presence of " God" could have manifest. Thank You, Dr. Qaisi

Successful outcome over Stage 4 Oral Cancer
I saw Dr Qaisi for a stage 4 oral cancer. I had part of my mouth and jaw removed and the lymph node in my cleaned out. I was not a candidate for fibula flap surgery and therefore they used a scapula flap from my shoulder blade. Dr.Qaisi got me in for the surgery in a few weeks to deal with the cancer and recommended that I follow up with radiation, which I did. He was extremely diligent in explaining the surgery and throughout the recovery in hospital as well as afterwards. I am now cancer free two years after the surgery and am grateful to Dr. Qaisi and his staff.

I was diagnosed with extraskeletal myxoid chondrosarcoma in the right mandible, which is a rare type of bone cancer. The tumor was located on skull base & in the right side of my jaw. Due to the rarity of this type of cancer I was informed that the search for a maxillofacial facial surgeon that specializes in the treatment, would be difficult. Luckily, I was referred to Dr. Qaisi, who has the knowledge & expertise. At my first consultation I knew that I could put all my trust in his work. Dr. Qaisi performed a fibular free flap jaw reconstruction. He was able to successfully remove the tumor. He also used my fibular bone to successfully reconstruct my right side of the jaw. It was a very long surgery, but his dedication & hard work helped get the tumor out and jaw reconstructed. Throughout all the recovery Dr. Qaisi has been available to answer any questions I have. I am beyond thankful for all his hard work. I highly recommend Dr. Qaisi for any head/neck related surgeries & treatment.

Outstanding Maxillofacial Surgeon – Nov 11, 2021
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Qaisi?
PLEASE READ this review! I was treated by Dr. Qaisi in September, 2021 for a branchial cleft cyst (an inflamed, benign neck mass, size of a baseball). I was fully aware of the significant risks involved in my surgery, due to the proximity of this mass to neck nerves and blood vessels, as I myself am a practicing surgeon. I methodically and meticulously researched the educational and training backgrounds of multiple OMFS and ENT doctors. Many other colleagues, including other head and neck oncology surgeons, agreed that Dr. Qaisi was the most talented and qualified surgeon for this procedure in the greater Chicagoland area. My surgery was extensive, and I believe few other surgeons would have been able to achieve the same remarkable outcome- no significant complications and no permanent disability. I am incredibly grateful to have been treated by Dr. Qaisi who has both the compassion and skill to provide patients with optimal surgical outcomes. I thoroughly recommend Dr. Qaisi!
