Knows what he is doing!
Dr Kareti recently gave me back surgery that has so far changed my life for the better! Took a while due to my insurance, but once we got the approval, Dr Kareti got the ball rolling to take the lead on making sure I received excellent care and pain relief. This man knows what he is doing and really cares for his patients. I’d recommend him to anybody that’s going through pain! He has a no nonsense approach and may come off as rude, but he really cares about what he does and how you feel.

Cold, Shrewd, Uncaring, Egotistical etc
Observing Dr Kareti’s behavior, you can tell something happened to him that causes him to be cold & shrewd. I believe he has the best intentions when it comes to your health, but his personality will not reflect that whatsoever. Sometimes I get the vibe that he doesn’t really enjoy his job. Perhaps he’s just doing it for the money & cares less about doctor patient relationships? Who knows? If that’s the case, perhaps find another career & do something else for a living Dr Kareti. My advice to him would be to be more caring towards your patients. A few bad apples doesn’t spoil us all Doc! Patients want to have confidence in their doctor, and if you’re unable to make your patients comfortable, you’ve failed as a doctor in my opinion. Expect to be interrupted, cut off mid sentence. Expect to feel dominated. Expect to feel as you mean absolutely nothing to Dr Kareti. If you can live with that, Dr Kareti is your guy! He is NOT a friendly man whatsoever. Professionalism doesn’t exist.

Do not dismiss the bad reviews, heed the warnings
He cussed at me immediately and several times after, would ask me a question and then cut me off without me finishing my answer and talked over me, and then went on to describe his opinions which were irrelevant if he should have let me finish answering. Based on my chart notes he absolutely did not listen and even noted things completely incorrectly. Questioned the legitimacy of my conditions and history regardless of there being medical proof, did not listen, has no manners, treated everyone else poorly as well. Said that my other doctors were wrong, and that I was wrong about where I am having pain. He didn’t close the door and I felt my privacy was invaded as I also overheard others interactions with him. Worst experience of my life and I’ve been to many doctors but I’ve never left bawling my eyes out and feeling so angry and dismissed. I’d write much more detail but there is not enough space. Heed the warnings. Don’t find out for yourself.

Having Confidence
I have been a patient of Dr. Kareti since 2019. I could not have received the care that I needed if it was not from Dr. Kareti. He is straight forward and direct and he knows exactly what he is talking about. His experience, knowledge, and compassion outweigh anyone that you can ever compare him to. It is like with anyone, if you do not do as instructed or plans for you on how to get better and you don't do it, then it is wasting that person's time and your own time and so with Dr. Kareti, he is not giving you instructions/directions to just hear himself talk.....it is to benefit the patient and help the patient feel better and/or have a better quality of life. I will not go to anyone else and I truly recommend giving Dr. Kareti a try. You will not go wrong!!

Horrible
This doctor treated me without respect. He focused on my anxiety disorder rather than my back pain. He talked over me, did not listen to me and basically inferred that I was drug and attention seeking. I have 5 bulging discs proved with an MRI and he told me I only had arthritis. Do not go to this doctor. Run!

Not informative or professio, bad bedside manner.
I was referred by my primary care physician for cortisone injections in my hip. 1. It was difficult to schedule 2. He did not shut the door during the appointment 3. As soon as I would be attempting to answer a question he would interrupt before I could complete a sentence. 4. I did not feel like he did a thorough exam. I would not be comfortable getting a shot from him. He didn't listen enough or let me speak enough to know where my pain actually is. When I asked generally how long does the shot last, he said "I have no idea". Not the type of answer that inspires confidence.

RUN DONT WALK!
Run don't walk!! He has the worst bedside manners I think I've ever experienced. He's chastising and has no compassion at all. He'll dangle pain meds over your head and do as I say and don't question me. Office visits weekly and therapy as well which is astronomical. Those things need to be done so he can then do injections because the insurance company won't approve them without. Please do yourself a favor and find a different doctor you'll thank me later.
