A very sad visit
I have an ovarian cyst and went to see Dr. Solomon at the office at 102 Park ave in Yonkers. It came up in an image that was taken for gall stones in early May. The next available appointment was mid July. I had been to that office many times with my service dog and the ladies at the desk know us. I waited half an hour for Dr. Solomon in the waiting area with my 13lb. service dog in plain sight. His asst. passed us by several times and acknowledged us , but said nothing. When she called me I followed her to the exam room. I got settled in and she took my vitals and left the room. When the asst came in a second time she told me the Dr. was allergic to dogs and couldn't see me so I left. I wish this could have been handled better for the sake of the patient. I am an optimistic person and was able to get another GYN, but now I have to wait another 6 weeks. The take away is he is allergic to dogs.
