Dr. Molly Shipman, MD

Dr. Shipman is the most caring, empathetic and knowledgeable doctor I’ve had the pleasure to be under the care of.

I’ve been a patient of Dr Shipman’s for a long time and I actually look forward to my appointments. She is the most compassionate and supportive doctor. Dr Shipman listens to and respects her patients. I never feel rushed and I believe she genuinely cares about her patients.

Going to a gynecologist is never pleasant, but Dr Shipman makes it much easier. She’s compassionate and caring. She listens to your concerns and takes time to answer questions. She makes sure you’re involved in the decision making and both of you are comfortable with the treatment plan if needed.

I enjoy every visit with Dr. Shipman as she ensures to always take her time to understand what’s going on with me and is just truly so kind and knowledgeable. Can’t recommend her highly enough!!!

She then gave me some suggestions to help me deal with the stress I am dealing with. She offered to give me a referral for self care opportunities. Knowing what I was going through, she hugged me at the door of my visit. I felt heard and cared for.

Dr. Shipman is a caring doctor and takes time to listen to what has been happening to you since your last visit and discuss any concerns you currently have. I feel comfortable to discuss any concern regardless of the subject. She never rushes through your appointment. She is always making sure you have gone over all of your questions with her before ending the appointment.

The office employees are always so pleasant and caring. Willing to help and provide the best care to there piers patients Dr. Shipman is one the most resilient and hard working woman I have ever known even with what she has encountered and lived she still has the heart of gold to treat each and every patient with dignity and value I am extremely grateful to God for her she is the true example of a fighter and she is needed in this world to make a difference thanks to you Dr . I am thankful my previous OBGYN referred me to Molly when she retired. I could not ask for a more knowledgeable sweet and kind individual who truly cares about her patients. Molly is very thorough and takes time to know her patients. My PCP told me she is a very smart lady and I couldn’t be more pleased with having her on my Team. When she moved from Waterbury to Hartford I was disappointed but it’s worth the trip every year.
