I dont even know where to begin. Was diagnosed for tendonitis and ignored when I returned for the same issue. Got a second and third opinion and it was a ulnar nerve entrapment the whole time. The tendon was never the issue—it was nerve compression near the elbow, likely cubital tunnel syndrome. The worst part? I wasted months on the wrong treatment plan—ice, rest, anti-inflammatories—when what I needed was nerve-specific care. By the time I got the right diagnosis, I had muscle atrophy and decreased grip strength. All because the first provider didn’t listen or reassess when symptoms didn’t improve.

Dr Gefter has been my PCP for years. I've never felt more comfortable with any doc in my life. She listens to you, responds clearly and without judgement. Clinical knowledge is outstanding.

I asked this Dr three times, once in writing, for a mental health referral. As a Veteran with diagnosed PTSD, you would think she would have responded. Nope. Its like talking to a wall. Still no mental health appointment, all my meds are gone and I have no choice but to be seen at the VA. That is the most important thing. I would rather be treated by the VA than by Dr Gefter

I have been Dr. Gefter's patient for several years. She is, by far, the best physician I've ever seen. She is thorough in her examination and takes plenty of time to discuss all my questions and make sure I understand what I need to do. I don't always like what she has to say, but I appreciate her willingness to have those difficult conversations. She is THE BEST.

Dr. Gefter has been the primary care physician for my mother for a number of years. Mom is 88 years old and struggles to hear-even with hearing aids. Dr. Gefter always takes time to talk to mother and to explain things to her in a way that she can understand as well as to answer any questions I may have about mother's medical needs. She is very professional and caring. Mother and I highly recommend Dr. Gefter.

Very forgetful nearly to the point of dementia or alzheimer's. She needs to be tested. Very inconsiderate and rude to her patients.
