On two occasions she told me that I should stop taking medications "cold turkey" that had severe side effects. The first was gabapentin and the second was clonazepam. My side affects in both occasions included, agitation, sleeplessness, severe tremors, vomiting, and twitching. I was afraid that I might have a seizure and was told to go to the ER. This was particularly inconvenient as my health insurance had lapsed and an ER visit would end up costing me up to a $1000 out of pocket. NOT OK!
