Dr. Monique Hamilton, MD

She was cool on my first visit. However, I was disappointed that she forgot that I was on a fertility journey on my next visit. She didn't mention it and I decided not to say it either. A fertility journey is a very sensitive and exciting journey. What doctor forgets that? So sad. I chose not to go back.

I was just under Dr Monique’s care for my second pregnancy. Her level of care during the entire 9 months was sub par. Each appointment I waited about an hour in the exam room and when she finally came in the appointment was rushed. I never received communication about my bloodwork or routine tests that come with pregnancy. I always had to follow up with her office to discuss the results. Also, unless you have a scheduled induction there is no guarantee that she will show up to deliver your baby. I was not induced. I wanted my baby to arrive naturally. Once my water broke and I was admitted to Ochsner, I was informed that residents would be delivering my baby. I have great health insurance so I’m not sure why this occurred. Once I gave birth, I never heard from Dr Hamilton or her office. They never called to check in on me or anything. Her office is in the hospital I gave birth in and she never called or stopped by. I was really disappointed. I have selected a new Dr in another network.

I was 8 months pregnant. She told me to pack a hospital bag. I told I was 8 months. I had a ultra sound appointment the next week and they kept me for a c - section. She was off and they said she doesn't answer the phone when she is off . Never even heard from her after my baby. I was devastated and alone. O yea and they stated that the residents would do the c section. I don't know whyy doctor Monique didn't answer the phone or call after. So much betrayal.

My visits with Dr. Hamilton, was so easy. The knowledge and attentiveness was everything it should be. I would recommend her services.

She kind and understanding

Entering into my 8th week I started expiercing signs of a miscarriage, I reported to my doc who wasn’t available and a nice receptionist instructed me to be seen in another office. From the moment I walked in Dr. Hamilton’s staff handle me with ABSOLUTE care. I wasn’t their patient, they were booked yet their focus was just making sure I was well. Never in my life have I had a doctor look me in my face and tell me “We’re going to take care of you”. I am beyond grateful to Dr. H and her staff.

AWESOME.....! Her main goal is to diagnose and treat. Dr. Hamilton is patient, she listens, asks questions to lead to the right diagnosis, makes you feel comfortable, and is very detailed oriented. I’ve never told a doctor that I enjoyed the Dr’s visit, however, I told it to Dr. Hamilton. She is on point. Who Dat is Dr. Hamilton.

Dr. Hamilton is the best doctor ever!!! My list of appreciation is too long to name all of the ways that he helped me when I needed it. She is truly a healer and patient reproductive health educator. I would recommend her to everyone know.

Dr. Hamilton has been the best. I've been a patient for several years, as she was my doctor as a student in New Orleans and thereafter. Before I had my son she was excellent as a Gyno, and throughout my pregnancy she was even better as an OB. Wait times can be long, however it is always worth it.

Dr.Hamilton is an excellent OBGYN! She will go the extra mile for her patients. Dr.Hamilton delivered all three of my babies ?? Her wait times can be lengthy but she's an OBGYN, things happen that need her attention right away. She is dedicated to her patients & She is excellent at what she does. Dr.Hamilton gets an A+ in my book
