Dr. Monique Prasad, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Prasad for over a year. I have found her to be caring, engaged and proactive.

Dr. Prasad misread my test results and prescribed an increase in medication when it should have been decreased. Thankfully I double checked and she corrected it, however after two additional mistakes due to carelessness on her part, I found a new PCP. Dr. Prasad doesn't take time to review patient's charts or listen to them. She seems perfunctory, dismissive, and dangerously careless--attention to detail is a critical provider skill.

Appointment was to review a MRI results ordered by my former doctor. Missed the 3 important details. Prescribed medication unaware of these details. A severely bulging disc is not going to be fixed by an antidepressant. Did not even mention what might be a brain tumor. Also missed the part were there was damage caused by either a virus or bacterial infection. I found her very arrogant, dismissive and wholly unprepared. Oh yeah she didn't show up to the room until 1hr after my appointment time despite an empty office. Run from this one.

Takes time to listen and spot on with diagnosis. Also reads her own emails and answers promptly.

A complete lack of bedside manner. Maybe it's her inexperience but I've never met a clinician like this. Medicine is about helping not hurting.

Poor experience. Changing Drs because of her switching offices.

Didn't spend more than 5 mins with my child. I expect more.

In and out in 5 mins with my child's check up. This is not a race

Not good she's replacing a great Dr she has some big shoes to fill. Unhappy so far.

I have seen Dr. Singhal several times in dealing with postmenopausal issues and various age-related concerns. She not only listens to your concerns, but doesn't resort to the most common diagnosis without validation. Also, she thinks about you as a patient beyond the appointment. I have gotten messages, post appointment, recommending additional testing that she thought about after I left the office.
