Patient and observant!
I've been very impressed with Dr Khan as a physician. He listens carefully to patients and will explain his thinking to you very clearly. He doesn't rush an appointment which is hard to find in a fast paced area like ours. His manner is quiet and observant. It's easy to think him aloof and apathetic. He's not...he's just observing and diagnosing your body against your words. I'm not in the medical field myself. I grew up in it though, a mother who was a doctor and a daughter who is an ICU nurse. Lots of medical talk always around our home.

DO NO HARM!
Dr Kahn within one minute of seeing me after a horrible car accident. He never asked to see my bruises all over my body. He said in a very haughty, condescending tone “You will not be getting any narcotics from me today” I started crying in the room… Then he left the room and the wonderful nurse helped me by explaining their position.. He could have done that.. Isnt the medical oath.. “Do No Harm” I cried all the way to the ER and his words still pain me…

Brilliant diagnostician
My cardio dr. had perscribed a new med and it made me incredibly dizzy. I went to Patient First and saw Dr Khan, and told him what was wrong with me. He examined me for about 5 minutes and said, "No, that's not it. You have what's called "positional vertigo."Let me try a body movement maneuver." Well, at that point, I thought he had no idea what he's doing, but i was already there so I let him try it. HE CURED THE PROBLEM COMPLETELY, in less than 4 minutes, and its never come back! Dr. Khan was 100% right and I was 100% wrong. Next time I went back, different problem, same deal. I was SURE I knew what was wrong, but he again diagnosed me correctly (and different from what I thought). Dr. Khan is a brilliant diagnostician with an excellent bedside manner. I'd beleive anything he said to me. He's a much better doctor than you'd expect at an urgent-care clinic. I'm glad he's now opened his own office. Even though its almost an hour from my home, I'll be making the drive when I need care.
