Overall good experience, highly recommend
I have been to see Dr Mrunal Shah perhaps a total of six times. The wait times in each case have been short. I appreciated the personal attention he gave me, taking a thorough history and carefully studying the detailed lab results. On the occasion that required an intervention, that of a infection, he prescribed what turned out to be an effective antibiotic and the resultiing infection began to subside within the first 24 hours. I fault the practice for just two things, failure of the staff to call in a prescription for my wife, who is also a patient of his, requiring a followup call; and, the failure of his staff to introduce themselves when I appeared for care. 'Hello, my name is XXX, how can i help you?' if at the front desk, and 'Hello, my name is YYY, I'm going to be taking your blood pressure,' in the case of an assistant. This is a small thing that I appreciate. The staff did, however, remember me from visit to visit, even if I had to ask them for their names.

The Office Operation is a Mess
Stay away from these guys. They're the gang who can't shoot straight. Dr. Shah is probably competent, though some of what he did didn't make sense. The office operation is a mess. Expect to make three phone calls to get even the simplest thing done, including something as simple as sending a prescription to a pharmacy. No followup when they drop the ball. If there's a billing issue, expect a lot of finger pointing and contradictory information. This is my second experience with MyCare Medical Group, they seemed very intent in keeping me in their practice when I was ready to walk before over a series of screw ups, promised things would be better at a different office. They weren't. I was there last week and there was a highly agitated man in the office complaining about the time he was spending not being able to get answers or information. The front office person was unable to help him, so it's not just me. They have systemic issues. MyCare's strategy of growing the company by acquiring

Dr. Shah took over the practice of my long-time internist Dr. Christine Behan who retired 2019. The transition was painless (no pun intended). He listens, is open to your thoughts and explanations and very easy to talk to. I absolutely recommend Dr. Shah.

This doctor is VERY uncompassionate and his office is completely disorganized. I have been lied to by the doctor and his staff. First they got my medical records from my old doctor and the next day they said they didn’t have or misplaced my records. Every day I called in it was a different story. How the hell does that happen??? I wasted over 2 months trying to get set up with him as my new primary doctor only to find out he is an immature, irresponsible child that has temper tantrum issues. I desperately needed to explain a situation to Shaw but he kept interrupting me. I was trying to explain very calmly how he was responsible for a very serious medication issue but he didn’t want to hear or take any responsibility for it and then stormed out of the office. I have a brain injury, chronic bladder issues, etc. and have been seeing the same doctors for several years but since my new plan is an HMO I need referrals from my primary doctor. Finally after several weeks Shah finally c

I met Dr Shah when he took care of me in a local hospital & I really liked his honesty, knowledge & bedside manner. I was not happy with my Dr I had prior to meeting Dr Shah so I asked him if he would accept me as a patient. Thankfully he did, I love his approach to medicine & his personality. He & his staff even assist me when I go back North which I truly appreciate. SO PLEASED OUR PATHS CROSSED IN THAT HOSPITAL!

Highly competent and knowledgeable doctor. Well balanced professionalism. Thoroughly discusses my current health status and any health issues and goals. Actively asks if I have any questions what-so-ever about my wellness. Very pleasant demeanor. Also exceedingly friendly, helpful, and adept support team in the office. I relocated from the local area last year but I still travel back to Dr. Shah’s office for my medical needs.

Here is a phenomenal Doctor that sits and listens to you when you are speaking with him not at him. He will not lie to you and if he is unsure he will find the answer. Dr. Shah, I,and My husband have been through a trying time since we moved here last Sept, 2017 we are so fortunate to have him going through this with us. He is also very funny! Give him a chance! We tell everyone about him and the office staff! Great Group! Keep up the great work and many more years! The best to you!!

I am new to the state and extremely careful when choosing a PCP. Dr. Shah is excellent in every aspect. He is very knowledgeable, compassionate, confident, carefully explains his reasoning and fully listens to the patient. His staff is incredibly efficient and his office runs efficiently. My wait time so far has not exceeded 10 minutes - and that includes my propensity to be early to appointments. Prescription renewals are prompt. Recommend very highly.
