Dr. Mahmood is a excellent Dr. I was seeing another Endo and he could not get my problems figured out. Dr. Mahmood put me on a plan and now all my labs are normal. Thank you, sir!

I highly recommend this provider. Dr. Mahmood is very knowledgeable, carrying, and experienced. My health unfortunately has been declining for the last 4 years. I've seen several (5!) different providers throught that time trying to figure out what was wrong. I've done all the tests and blood work but they weren't able to help. Dr. Mahmood was able to diagnose just after initial bloodwork and meeting me once. He was able to give me useful recomendations and clear course of treatment that has helped me significantly. My health has improved within a month. The office and staff were welcoming and efficient. There might be wait to see the provider so plan accordingly. But when it was my turn I didn't feel rushed and had all of my questions answered. This was very different from what most providers are like 10min appointment for established patient 15min for new. Dr. Mahmood genuinely cares for his patients, he wants to help them feel better, and is able to do so.

Nope
On top of making you wait a super long time to see him in office, he doesn’t communicate well or explain options and treatment plans. Oh, and too bad about those symptoms you’re having- they don’t matter if your labs are “normal.” Good luck trying to get any kind of communication from him between appointments if needed.

Dr. Mahmood is a very thorough doctor and have been impressed with my husband’s care there. Yes, the wait time is extremely long, but given the circumstances of Covid and the fact that there are fewer endocrinologists available, be thankful that he is willing to see you. Yes, I get that our time is as precious as the nexts, but if your unhappy with the wait, good luck in finding another endocrinologist that will accept you without a 5 month wait for an appointment.

I would not recommend this physician. You have to wait hours to be seen and then he comes in the room and does not even look you in the face. Stares at the computer the whole time. He asks questions about your problems, but does not even address them after he asks. I will not be returning to his office.

Dr Mahmood is a life saver! If you are prediabetic or a diabetic, I can assure you Dr Mahmood would change your situation. He is hard core. He is firm, but he is your best bet. His only concern is your health. He is extremely knowledgeable regarding endocrinology. I would fully recommend his services.---Kinsler

this dr. waits to do lab work until the day of your actual appt and lab is slow. each appt takes at least 3 hrs before you are seen by dr. because of his insistance on doing labs same day. then you wait for hours for the results and to see him because he won't see you without results. then he spends less than 5 minutes with pt. makes no med changes and all this after wasting 3 or more hrs of your day to see him.

My appointment time was at 1:45. I arrived an entire hour early (12:45) in order to be able to adequately fill out the paperwork. That took 30 minutes to do. I sat in the lobby for 1 whole hour AFTER my appointment time. At 2:45 I was brought to the exam room and as of 3:49 today I still haven't seen Dr. Mahmood! Zero Stars!!!!
