Not good experience. I had been having a lot of scary symptoms that my primary couldn’t figure out. I finally got an appointment to see him a month later and he seemed like I was a waste of time. He kept trying to rush me through the appointment and getting annoyed I kept repeating myself because he wouldn’t acknowledge anything I was saying. He wiped it all down to me just having anxiety and a hypochondriac. Because I was in my 20s couldn’t be anything serious. Then month later I end up half blind, with such severe vertigo I couldn’t walk by myself, in a different hospital who took me seriously and admitted me. I guess they admit all hypochondriacs a week at the hospital. Come to find out I had severe built up spinal fluid pressure pushing on my brain. Thanks for help and brush off

Dr. Asghar was assigned to me as my doctor 5 years ago for a seizure induced by medications I was prescribed. I do not have epilepsy or any underlying issues. This "Doctor" told me it was my fault because I was "doing drugs" despite the fact I was a straight A college athlete. He failed to turn in my paperwork to the DMV so my license would get revoked repeatedly even though it costed an exorbitant amount of money to have the office send it. I had to start bringing my mother to appointments because he would bully and belittle me. I had memory loss, and he told me it was in my head. I had to go to therapy to work through the memory loss, and it took YEARS for it to come back. I have been playing instruments for over 10 years, and I couldn't remember how to read sheet music. He told me I was lying. Do NOT see this man because he will capitalize on your misfortune. If you are a young adult, he will rip you apart. There are wonderful people in this office, so please choose wisely.

He didn't take me seriously and after a year of dealing with symptoms and seeing him regularly, he basically told me there was nothing more any medical professional could do to help me and that all I could do was hope my symptoms went away one day. He was very flippant when answering my questions and I got the feeling he just thought I was a waste of his time.

I think he is very arrogant, you get the feeling that he feels as if your wasting his time. I will be looking for another Neurologist. Did not have a very great experience there. His nurse was literally trying to talk me out of Botox injections for my migraines since its so much paperwork for her!!

My experience with Dr. Asghar and his staff had been outstanding. Pesky paperwork was handled with efficiency and competency. Dr. Asghar set me at ease during a time of personal stress and took the time to thoroughly answer all my questions. He is highly knowledgeable in the field of neurology and was able to make a clear and accurate diagnosis. Dr. Asghar is willing to go above and beyond for his patients and I would highly recommend him.
