Neglected
The doctor said my hubby was ok to go thru with chemo knowing his immune system was already in sepsis shock. He didn't offer any treatments to help with bowel obstruction and didnt tell my hubby he had tumors. I had to ask for biomarker test to be done while the doctor never even mentioned it. I still never got those results. He didn't even tell my hubby how far his cancer was until it was too late. My husband had complained of mouth sores and Alam didn't prescribe anything. His chemo staff seen how bad it was and asked Alam to prescribe medication in which he did in the end. He also told my hubby's daughter his condition before he told my own husband of his condition.

Left in the dust….
Dr Alam would make a great used car salesman. He promised to take care of me through my cancer treatment and then abandoned me after the first appointment- no notice, no call no nothing. Don’t trust this charlatan.

Dr. 5 STARS!!! The Most genuine human being!
Dr. 5?????????? was the nickname I had given him while I was searching for an oncologist . Words can’t express the gentleman behind the white coat. 5 Stars ( Dr. Alam) has Compassion , empathy, and sincere kindness towards his patients. He works so hard!!! He would come into the hospital way after hours, even after working his long shift during the day, making sure his patient were being taken care of. I can’t say enough about how wonderful a man he is… Dr. Alam was born to this profession.. some would say, he has that special gift from God, helping his patients through some of the toughest time in their lives. He puts a smile on my face every time I see him. If your in need of an ONCOLOGIST 5 ?????????? Is your Doctor! He’s saved my life and I truly ??Him ! Xo Renee

Yes I would most definitely recommend Dr. Alam to my family and friends. Dr. Alam listens to you and he really does care. He’s very caring and has a lot of compassion. Doesn’t speak down to you. Explains everything to you. Answers your questions even when you have already asked him the same question. Takes his time with his patients, the last time we had our visit on FaceTime because of COVID-19. Went very smoothly, his staff members called ahead explained everything plus they too are very thoughtful and caring. Plus they always call you back. They even went as far as to call to make for sure I made it home okay since my husband wasn’t able to be with me that day. I had no problems at all I was completely comfortable being without my husband since I knew the staff members would take excellent care of me. Their lab is excellent (no pain) and the technicians staff that does the infusions and Chemotherapy are the best, they too are caring, thoughtful and for me no pain. Very kind techs

Dr Alam has been very helpful from day one of my diagnosis. He made my family and I feel comfortable when going over my treatment plan and any other questions we had (which were plenty). I can’t thank him and his staff at Community Cancer Institute for the way they treated me. From his office staff to the people that work at the infusion center I really couldn’t be happier with how they all went out of their way to make such a hard time more comfortable. God bless them!
