Patel is often late. In fact, I have waited hours for him before when I’ve had to see him. The only good doctor they have there is Bev Gilraine and she’ll be leaving soon. He’s told me I was “too fat” before. Fine. I’m TRYING actively to fix it so I don’t know what more I can do. It’s like me trying somehow isn’t enough. When I tell him I have an issue with e medication needed adjusted, it gets overlooked and never addressed and nothing is ever done about it. Molly Sharp is just as bad as he is so I will NOT be seeing her ever again. She can’t do math correctly and when I calmly and politely pointed out my prescription was wrong, I got yelled at and belittled, even though it was HER who was wrong. Patel says he’ll call in all my meds and come to find out that wasn’t ever done. So now I’m sitting here without some of my medications because he couldn’t get his act together long enough to send them to my pharmacy.

Dr. Patel prescribed a medication for me and did not complete proper follow up care. He did not complete any lab work. The medication caused me to have toxicity and I went into kidney failure. Spent 12 hours on dialysis at Duke hospital and was kept for a week. I had seizures, could not walk, could not talk, and many other side effects. I have since moved to another state. I tried to put this behind me and not cause a stink. But I should have spoke out earlier because I wouldn’t want any other person or families to go through what I and my family had to endure.

He makes all patients come back each month even when they are stable to see one of his assistants that has no clue what is going on just to collect the insurance money. I quit going there because they kept changing my appointments because his staff takes days off at the last minute.

I have also been seen by Molly Sharp she should not be doing anything when it comes to dealing with people!! She went as far and lied on me and when she was told she had made a mistake she didn't apologize! I think she needs to get mental health help for herself!!

I have been seeing him for over 10 years. He doesn't inquire or ask many questions other than how are you. Seems disinterested at times and refused to refill my prescription once for no apparent reason to me or his staff. He can be pleasant and even funny. He refuses to see me if I do not take antidepressants which I feel are not benefiting me. I talk mostly to Molly Sharp PA and feel like I benefit from her counseling. She is always on schedule whereas Dr. Patel has made me wait

I've been going to the center for over a year and I sometimes see Molly Sharp, PA, when she is filling in and I have never had a good experience with her, she is condescending and confrontational and does not provide a comfortable and safe setting for treatment. I've seen her interaction with other patients as well and it seems as if she gets pleasure from using her authority at the expense of others. The front desk staff is friendly, though there are other employees that are unprofessional

I too had a bad experience with Molly Sharp, she was cold, rude and condescending. You pay a place to get help with addiction by specialists supposedly trained in addictionology and your treated with nothing but judgement. And no this is not an internal voice overshadowing my thoughts telling me I am being judged, this is evidenced by the questions, tonality and overall affect of this practitioner.

I recently had an appointment with dr. Patel and when I got there I was told I couldn't see him that I had see a physician's assistant to my knowledge PA do not have any experience in psychiatric care the woman's name was and Molly Sharp she was very rude and said the way they run things there is the fact that they are only there to dispense medicine. I did not come to see a psychiatrist to get a bunch of pills to turn me into a zombie I truly need someone to talk to. I feel I was misled.
