Very caring and attentive
She has been my primary for many years. Very wise and caring. She listens and truly understands. Not too many like Dr Patel.

the only reason i saw this provider is because my PCP (Dr. Surbhi Shah— she is lovely!) did not have any appointments, and i was desperate, in a lot of pain. Dr. Patel is an abrupt, dismissive physician, who not only profiled me based on my weight and family history but, more importantly, did not address the actual issue at hand. the following day, i sought care from a wonderful, caring provider who (in one five-minute visit) identified the issue, prescribed the proper medications, and recommended imaging to get to the root of the problem. i would give zero stars to Munira Patel if it were an option.

I saw Dr. Patel a few times before the pandemic, I wasn't very pleased with her receptionist on two occasions. I don't feel like Dr. Patel listened to my concerns on both of my visits yet, I continued to virtually see her only because I fell and she had me go for an x-ray which, showed nothing was broken. ok, then she prescribed a pain med to this day my elbow still continues to bother me. I can barely lift a gallon of milk. I haven't found a doctor yet otherwise, I would have stopped seeing her already. Plus, I have been trying to get a hold of someone to resubmit a claim in which they entered all of my insurance information incorrectly. It shows half of my husband's info and half of mine. Is there even anyone answers phones at this point?

If I could leave less I would. Went in for a sore throat, and swollen lymph nodes. No one check my throat, or ears, received a strep test which came back negative. Was given Zpac for an obvious infection. Finished it in time frame, but the pain never went away 1 week after finishing the Zpack the pain was significantly worse my throat was swelling so badlyat work I was becoming worried. I made another appointment for Thursday. The next day, Wednesday, I couldn't wait the pain was too much so I went to urgent care at UIC. Turns out I did have strep, and was continuously reinfecting myself my drink the same water, and using the same toothbrush, and eating the same leftovers. This mistake would've been fine with me, but I decided to go to my appointment anyway, to see if she would check for strep, she did not. She recommended me to a specialist, for an ultrasound, to get blood work done, all "SOLUTIONS" to get money out of my pocket. Do not got to bolingbrook Healthcare associate. Crooks

Dr. Patel is such a friendliy Doctor, with a lot of compassion and patience. She always has an ear for you and when she doesn't know anything she honestly says that. For me one of the best ones I know. My pain lasts only 4 weeks til Dr. Patel treatet me. And I had this pain for 20 years. I cannot thank her enough....... Also Sandy, the appointment cordinator is so friendly all the time! In my eyes they both work with spirit and because they like their job, their patients with their heart!!

I went to Dr. Munira Patel for consultation about my digestive issues. She diagnosed me with Acid Reflux and prescribed some medications. I came back a week later because I started feeling worse even with the medication. During this visit, I definitely felt she was rushing and didn't spend time to listen to my symptoms. She said the tests look fine and just continue observing. I went to a specialist who said I was misdiagnosed and was surprised she didn't order more thorough blood/stool test.

Impossible to get ahold of the office by phone. Needed prescriptions filled and they never got back to me. Have been waiting for over 3 weeks for a referral. Went to ER because referral never came and condition became worse. Dr. Patel hasn't even contacted me since my ER visit. Would never recommend to friend or loved one.

Dr. Patel is caring, she LISTENS! She doesn't over-prescribe medications and will go to bat against an insurance company for her patient if it is in their best interest. She is personable and very easy to talk to.
