APPOINTMENT DROPPED
I have used the Dr. Over the last 8 years. During that time she was great. She twice has given me a series of 5 shots down my upper right spinal cord. They both lasted 4 years. GREAT. I made an appointment for another set of shots. Drove one hour to get there. Was then told she does not take new patients. They said since my last shots were over 3 years ago they consider me a new patient. WHY DIDN'T THEY MAKE AN EFFORT TO CONTACT ME AND WHY DID THEY MAKE AN APPOINTMENT IN THE FIRST PLACE? This leaves me trying to find a new Dr. This will require a bunch more tests etc. before I get shots for pain relief. Who knows how long it will take. WHAT HAPPENED TO HER GREAT SERVICE?

I Owe My Life To Dr. Diaz-Ramirez
This Doctor advocated for me to be hospitalized, when other Doctors did not. It was during this hospitalization that they discovered a pocket of infected fluid on the base of my spine. This event along with several surgeries and physical rehabilitation eventually allowed me from being a paralyzed from the waist down, to walking with a cane. Without Dr. Diaz-Ramirez pushing for this hospitalization, I would not be alive today. THANK YOU for helping me!

I have been a patient of Dr. Diaz-Ramirez for a few years now. She is wonderful. Takes the time to talk with me at each appointment. She listens and understands my health situations. I have a mechanical heart value so most procedures are not an option for me, but Dr. Diaz-Ramirez continued to assist in providing me with various exercises to try daily, referred me to physical therapy and each visit she continues to provide options to assist with the pain so I am able to continue living my life. She is awesome! Thank you Dr. Diaz-Ramirez.

Dr Diaz Ramirez has been a godsend!
Dr Diaz Ramirez has been a godsend! After several years seeking lower back pain relief in Northern Virginia, and many treatments from many pain medicine doctors, my mother recommended a visit to her doctor here in Sarasota. I have been seeing Dr Diaz Ramirez since 2018. Over the past 3 years, she has patiently listened to my complaints (pain) and tried multiple modalities. Success was reached with a Nevro Spinal Stimulator. My pain medicines have been greatly reduced and I’m out of bed. We even travelled last summer to visit family and friends. Dr Diaz Ramirez has returned quality to my life!

Dr Diaz is amazing! I highly recommend her. She listens!! I am 72 years old and she gave me the medication that I needed after scoliosis surgery in April. In addition, she suggested I try acupuncture and I did and it helped with my muscle pain. Following all her medical advice is the way to heal faster and get ease of movement back. Just because you are in your 70’s or 80’s is no excuse not to get up from the chair and move! With Dr Diaz’s help, I am walking 4 miles a day! I was a long- distance walker before surgery and my goal is to get back to 8 miles. I know I’ll get there!

I had pain in my knee since 1975. After Dr. Diaz-Ramirez did the procedures on my knee, for the first time in so many years, I can say I have no pain in my knee thanks to her.

My father (just diagnosed with 2 types of cancer) brought my disabled mother (on full time oxygen) to Dr. Diaz Ramirez's office. They waited 1.5 hours to see the doctor, after which her assistant said that the Dr. would/could not help my mother with her pain medication that she takes for chronic pancreatitis and migraines. The Dr. did not have the decency to speak with my parents, and only sent in the assistant. The doctor's office had all of my mother's records. If they didn't want to help, then they should have decided that before wasting their time. Heartless and disrespectful to others. I never review anything, but this truly disturbed me.

I would not give her any stars if available. Does not rerun calls, HAve had headaches for going on 15 months, Insurance approved all Tests on 7/11 have called and left messages and no response back. she refuses to take ownership for her Screw ups, even though other Doctors have told her whats needed. Doesn't listen to patients and or other Doctors. I wouldn't take my dog to her I am now going to file medical malpractice claim against her

I was a patient for several years, and I know that Dr Diaz-Ramirez is an excellent doctor, and I never had questions or doubts about her skills as a pain management doctor. A few years ago she sold her practice to a large medical firm, and many office procedures changed. They schedule patients every 15 minutes. and this results in long office waits and a crowded office. . Also, I was always scheduled with the PA or nurse practitioner, and only saw Dr Diaz-Ramirez once a year. My appointments were always short and quick, and was spent answering the same questions every month, and watching the PA typing and entering my answers and other data into the computer. When she was finished she would hurriedly leave to go to her next appointment. Often I never had the opportunity to ask any questions, as the appointments were always rushed, and I felt that the PA was more eager to go to the next appointment than to spend a few minutes with me to see how I was doing.

this is a continuation I've been seeing pain mgmt for over 12 years. NEVER, NEVER have I needed to see the DR more than 1 time a month unless I'd had an injection. this doc is every week with every-other-day calls about something or the other. I felt as though I HAD done something wrong! From the first visit it was obvious that we weren't going to be comparable. My former doc suggested I get a med MMJ card. This doc said NO. Long story short she let me go WITHOUT MY RX'S FOR 4 DAYS. I'm a CARDIAC PATIENT. ONLY after veiled threats if I coded again got my meds filled. THIS DOC IS VERY VINDICTIVE... NO EMPATHY..JUMPS TO CONCLUSIONS

Been treated by 5 pain doctors, every type of procedure there is, none as good as Dr. Ramirez. Kind, caring and the best with injections, epidurals and I have had dozens done by many others , she is the best. So if you are in pain all I can say is Dr Ramirez is great. Finds the cause of pain and works to get you pain free as possible, she has helped and been so kind , most of all best at surgical procedures of many different Dr's I have been to over 15 years of chronic pain, she is by far the best.

i have suffered from increased back pain for 29 years following 6 spine surgeries. Dr. Diaz was the first doctor in years who solved the puzzle in lieu of another pill or shot. I have gone from a level 10+ of pain to a 2. I have a complicated case but she took the time along with her associate, Dr.Emegbagha, to find the problem. I love them both and am very grateful!!

Like many reviews here, there is so may reasons to give 1 star. First, it is all about money with no care for the individual patient. I have been to see this doctor 5 times and 4 of them I waited almost 2 hours to get in. They overbook, and don't realize or forgot that you are there because you are in pain. The DR. consistently mentions what insurance coverage you have. They forgot where they came from, and I feel it is time to reassess their business. Go elsewhere. Too many other doctors to put up with this. I noticed, she has almost as many 1 star reviews as she does 5 stars, for a DR. that is unexcuseable.

waited 2 hours in the office to see the doctor, while being in so much pain, and has happened 2 more times. this is a factory that turns out patients without any care only thinking about money. Such a shame, they forget that the people are coming into this office for hope and healing. UNCARING, and dismissive. I warned you. I guess that is why there is so many 1 star reviews for this doctor. Should have looked here first.

Average wait time was over an hour with a 2 hour wait just to get a paper signed for handicapped state tag. After an hour wait, I was put in an examining room and waited another 45 minutes before seeing the Dr. Twice I scheduled a series of appointments for knee shots, over 6 weeks in advance. When I was called, they said that the medicine had been ordered but they didn't have it. The office management is a mess. Dr. is nice, but a visit to this office is an ordeal.
