Worst bedside manner I ever experienced. He was so rude, looked at me annoyed and was dismissive when I asked questions. Not sure who else he expected me to ask?!? This was my first baby and my last visit I left in tears. My husband went back and complained to the clinic manager, after seeing how distraught I was. Thank goodness he was not on service to deliver my baby. Made sure all of my follow ups were not with him. Not what you want from your OBGYN. Too many great OBGYN's at renown to ever have to deal with him.

Absolutely the Best Doctor. He delivered my baby in 1991 at the Good Samaritan Hospital. I love him.

Condescending, dismissive, rude, and aggressive. My wife’s water broke 4 weeks before her due date so we went into the hospital. She was having regular and intense contractions but when Dr. Bethel entered the room he immediately discounted her medical history and tried to bully and intimidate her into starting pitocin and get an epidural. He began threatening her with eclamptic seizures and refusing to treat her when she said she wanted to labor naturally. Completely terrible and unprofessional.

The office staff is completely apathetic and incompetent. They do not return calls or My Chart questions. Although Dr. Bethel may be a knowledgeable professional, the office staff do not understand how to keep appointments and communicate efficiently with patients. This office has dropped the ball and completely set me back in my Endometriosis treatment. Dr. Bethel will only address questions during your 15 minute appt. Do not expect to have any questions addressed at all.

My wife tried to see Dr Bethel, due to bad accidents in Washoe valley and her GPS sending her to the wrong location, she was a bit late. Dr Bethel refused to see her. His staff claimed it was due to the fact that it would take too long to fill out the paper work. Information they already had from Barton and her specialist. It seems to me that it was just an excuse and he didnt really want to see her. She get treated like this often just because she is hispanic. This is terrible customer service.

I have had 4 miscarriages and we gave up on having a baby of our own. Then I heard about Dr. Bethel and his expertise and knowledge. He was so wonderful and took time to listen to both me and my husband. He developed a plan for us and we are now the proud parents of a health and beautiful baby girl. Thank you Dr. Bethel!
