Excellent doctor
Dr Strickland is so knowledgeable - I had uterine cancer. Having a period after 8 years I called in. They saw rme the next day. Dr Strickland looked. Said I needed a biopsy - cancerous results. He removed everything - this was all done within 30 days. I don’t need any chemo. Dr Strickland explained everything to me and I felt very confident with him as the doctor to be with

24 yrs and counting
My visits are always great. As an AA woman that has been with this doctor on and off (military) since I was 18, I've never had any issues with him. He's always been concerned about my health. I'm greatful for him. I think he wished that 3rd (6 yrs old) child on me 15 yrs later (lol) but it's ok. He's makes sure my cholesterol levels are good and if the medication makes me feel bad he will refer something else. I truly trust him with my health so much Ive been driving 2 hrs to see him for the past 10 yrs. All 3 of my children have been delivered by this office and he delivered my 1st. He's more so family now. Thank you!!

DO NOT ******* SEE THIS MAN
Absolutely DO NOT ******* go see this man. My partner just had her SOUL CRUSHED because of the lack of care, bedside manner, and acuity. He did not listen to her, he cut her off mid-sentence, and he made a scary situation worse by being blatantly uncaring. This man should be ashamed to call himself a physician and needs to stay far away from the women of this city.

Horrible Bedside Manor
He was very upset when he learned I had gotten other opinions about my medical health. He told me my chances of having a baby were slim to none with my own family eggs in an extremely unkind manor. He also gave fertility examples based on my race. He was cruel and I left hysterical. I ended up talking to my fertility specialist for reassurance after that appointment. I had my baby 2 years later with my own eggs no thanks to him.

Horrible doctor.
No bedside manner. Accused me of using drugs because I refused his testing. I have nerve damage and its hard for me to go to the bathroom alone, especially without my caregiver. Pompous. Lots of complaints against this man and a history of doing things against patients consent. Look at their Facebook and Google reviews. He also said because I’m a veteran “good luck finding care”. 0/10, he needs to not practice medicine.

Dr. Strickland is experienced and very knowledgeable but lacks compassion. He has no bedside manner. He is harsh and an alarmist. He reverts to worst case scenario without looking at the patients history. For example, I am prone to large corpus luteum cysts (+4 inches) during pregnancy. ALL women have a cyst during the early phase of pregnancy to sustain the fetus until the placenta takes over hormone production. These cysts are non-cancerous, often cause no symptoms, and serve a purpose. Had I listened to Dr. Strickland's fear tactics (loose an ovary, painful ovarian torsion) and had the surgery at 11 weeks gestation to remove this cyst, I could have lost my baby by miscarriage or risked exposing my baby and body to unnecessary surgical intervention complications (perforated bowel, infection). End result, I chose not to have the surgery and my cyst resolved itself!! Dr. Strickland ended up refusing continued care to me after a schedule conflict for gestational diabetes testing. It w

Dr. Strickland is the best! He helped deliver my baby and talk me through natural birth. He is straight forward and honest all the way. Within my five year plan my hopes are to become as great as a doctor as Strickland one day. For he is my inspiration.

I have seen Dr.Strickland for 19 years and he delivered both of my sons. He is straight forward and honest with you, and will listen to any concerns at the same time. He was the only dr out of many specialists who listened to persistent pain I had for over 2 years and finally did surgery to find and fix the problem. I can't imagine going elsewhere and now drive 2 hours to my visits to see him.

Competent and caring doctor. He is direct and to the point which isn't everyone's preference. However if your interested in exceptional care, get over it and schedule with him.
