I’ve been Dr Altememi’s patient for about ten years. When seeing him first, I thought oh, no - he looked so young! By the end of the visit I realized that I won “a good doctor search’s lottery”. What struck me most - attention to detail, genuine interest in his patient’s story (we patients can be verbose) and his questions, all to the point. Next was a most thorough exam. Lastly, a conversation with a detailed analysis, options and recommendations. That routine has not changed. He actually comes out to the waiting area to greet his patient and summarizes their medical history right away (no teleprompter). Dr Altememi even found a potentially dangerous condition from my test (not his area) and alerted me to follow up with my GP and cardiologist. I highly recommend Dr Altememi, a thinking DOCTOR. A caveat -as with all good doctors, it’s not easy to get an appointment, waiting time could be longer than one desires, even though his staff is highly professional and courteous.

Dr. Altememi seemed quite competent. He inherited me from a previous doctor. He reviewed my medical history and discussed my treatment and recommendations for improvements.

Dr. Altememi is very knowledgeable, thorough, and insightful in treating sleep apnea. He goes over things in detail and always leaves time for me to ask questions. He really listens to you and doesn’t ignore your concerns or complaints with the CPAP machine.

Staff is argumentative and very difficult. Dr Altememi is arrogant and dismissive. I ended up concluding my relationship with the practice. Practice is below standard of care.

Doctor Altememi inherited me when my original doctor left town, and have been please, with his knowledge and demeanor. I understand it's very difficult to get on his schedule these days , but it's worth the effort.

My PCP referred me to Dr. Altememi several years ago. I could not be more grateful or impressed. He is careful, thorough and a great communicator. He is efficient while conducting his meetings with me thoughtfully and warmly. Finally, he is proactive. My PCP refers me to top proven and trusted specialists. Based on a number of visits now, Dr. Altememi has earned my highest recommendation.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Altememi for several years now. He is always professional, spends ample time with me and is interested in improving my ability to live with migraine. I’ve seen a couple different neurologists in this practice over the last 20 years and he is my favorite.

Thorough and un-rushed.

Pleasant demeanor and thorough history taken. However he was generally dismissive of my concerns and how that history contributed to my symptoms. He did not explain my sleep study at all beyond telling me it confirmed the symptoms I’m complaining of. He offered a treatment plan that was impossible for me to complete given restrictions related to my work schedule and told me what I really needed was a therapist. Extremely disappointing visit. Afterwards I spoke to a female physician and am now being treated appropriately.

Dr Altimini has an excellent bedside manner and explained things very clearly.

I was very satisfied with my experience with Dr. Altemeni. I felt so much better knowing that I was at the hand of a competent doctor. He came highly recommended . He shared with my internist his diagnosis and further procedures that I may need. He provided me with situations that I may experience and should not be surprised as I fully recover from my injury. I definitely would rate him as a top notch neurologist and will come back if necessary to consult again.
