He won't give out a referral to get a second opinion without a nasty gram from your primary doctor.. horrible in person experience like you are waisting his time..if it ain't an easy diagnosis he pretty much gives up (thanks again for that) the staff is absolutely horrible with scheduling be sure to call each week to see if you test or referrals have been done yet..

Said I had an appointment….and I didn’t.
Trying to bill me for an appointment I never had or made. I’ve made several calls.stating this. They are billing me $50. And interest charges. Now they want to send it to collections.$68.00 now. This is so unfair. How I met Dr. Aziz was in st. Joe’s hospital. I did one follow up visit.I have respect for him. But this charging me for no appointment is not fair.I lost my husband. My son just had his right leg amputated. I pay my bills.

Patient
I was greeted, by office staff, in a pleasant and helpful manner. I was extremely pleased, in every way, with Dr. Aziz! He was experienced, very knowledgable concerning my health issue, patient, pleasant and explained everything to me. After only one visit, I would have no hesitation recommending him to anyone.

Good Doctor, TERRIBLE STAFF!
Dr. Aziz is very good at diagnosing and treating, but dealing with the staff is stressful. It seems silly to be complaining about that, but there are certainly other doctors who are just as good and I don’t need to be stressed by rudeness and incompetence. Once, when they made an error in scheduling a test, they blamed it on me. When I arrived at the test site, they verified that the office had been in error. This type of thing happens over and over, and very, very rude! Not worth my trouble

Failed to diagnose early onset Altzhiemers
I went to this neurologist due to struggles I was having at work organizing projects and completing tasks. This doctor failed to test me for altzhiemers. A year later I was diagnosed with altzhiemers. This is not a complicated test.

He doesn't explain anything. Orders lots of tests and does not go over results. He wanted me to go for an MRI every 6 months with no explanation as to why. I'm having hard times and missed an appointment which was discussed with the office manager. They then sent me a no show bill. When I called about it, Linda was very rude with me. So I GOT RUDE BACK. She started off telling me ( a full time college student and a full time Nurse along with a family), that I had plenty of time to prepare and had a "habit" of not showing up to things. Then proceeded to lie to me about how things were discussed previously. I asked for the office manager to call me, and I was told this was not going to happen. I'm transferring out of this horrible office. He is not that bad, over all, but he just does not explain ANYTHING. Some of his office staff need to go. But it wont happen, because they apparently don't have a clue how their staff, particularly Linda, behaves.

I met with Nabil Aziz and seemed like he cared about my concerns. Had testing done which he recommended, and never gave me the results, even after numerous calls to the office which took place over a period of 2 weeks, the girls working at the office were of no assistance either. I was brushed off, no return calls, and almost 20 days after the fact I received my results in the mail, and then a letter followed that he is no longer going to treat me. His treatment consisted of prescribing pills for something he thought I had and not following up or sending me for further testing. He failed me as a doctor, so no I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. So now I have to find another provider who is actually going to do the job I pay them for.

I really like Dr. Aziz. The problem is really with appointment time errors. Make sure you document appointment times clearly. Also, it might be best to call the day before, although when I did that I was told the wrong time and showed up an hour early. Of course I have no proof. I just tried to be positive and move on.

The front reception gal is more than rude thought it was perhaps a case of having a bad day.. but this was not the case been going there for several years and it appears she's been having a BAD day ongoing for years!! RUDE!! Very off putting considering she's the front and first person your greeted with. One would think given that this is an office that treats neurological conditions one would hope to encounter a much kinder approach!!! Also the sliding glass window is slammed back and forth which bangs ,bangs, adds to the jarring out of your seat one would expect a more calming atmosphere in a neurological office!!!! Either fix the track of the window or stop accentuating it a a closure to the opening conversation.

I feel that Dr. Aziz saved my life. I was at an appt to go over test results with him, when I casually mentioned something that had happened to me. Dr. Aziz was able to determine that I had experienced a TIA. He notified my cardiologist, who was able to confirm that diagnosis through a device I have implanted. He is very professional, and I never feel rushed or that I can't ask him a question.

Dr Aziz was a very good listener. He took his time with me, I never felt rushed. I felt like he was really trying to obtain a thorough picture of my health history to assess my current condition. Once he examined me and reviewed my images, reports, he explained to me what he thinks is going on and recommended approach. I felt like he really cared and he gave reasons for his professional assessment in a way that was compassionate and that I could understand. He’s a good man and practitioner.

Was used as a ginney pig, dropped needles then wiped them off on his pants. Gave to treatment, would speak to me as if I were stupid, and not helpful whats so ever, it was all about money with that man and his office staff.

Testing done in office, no choice. Spends 2 minutes with patient - but details a medical record, for his own amusement i guess -not beneficial for patient. Poor quality Dr. Poor interactions with patient. Doesn't explain a thing based on my 1000's dollars worth of his office testing! I was terminated after a general records request that he refused to complete. Requires you to pay before visits, then generates receipts with no coding. Dr does as he pleases NO COMPASSION

used me as a ginny pig on new and medicine that hadn't been studied! $6460 for a prescription "there isn't many studies on. but we can try" had me on a dose of meds suggested too high on all patients. My 15 min appointments and lack of care from him pissed me off more and more till i had to find a new doctor.

Today was my first visit with Dr. Aziz and I was very impressed. He was extremely attentive and gave me a thorough exam. He took the time to explain the function of the Occipital Nerve using pictures to help me understand. He was extremely kind and empathetic. I will certainly recommend him to anyone who is looking for neurological help.
