Dr. Nabodita Ghimire, MD

Dr Ghimire has the worst communications skills I’ve ever encountered in any hospital or doctor’s office. She doesn’t effectively communicate with the family or staff. She should go into research where she doesn’t need to interact with anyone.

Dr Nabodita Ghimire was the most grounded, compassionate, consistent, & thorough MD I had during a total of 17 days (& way too many other providers) while hospitalized at Albany Medical Center. During a life threatening illness, it was comforting to have Dr. Ghimire present to support me. She scheduled her visits during times when she knew my wife was present to participate. She offered measured, logical, well-thought-out and well-presented information & direction to help me make decisions. She considered my beliefs & strengths regarding healing & wellness, and provided a broader perspective when I was confronted with specialists who saw my circumstances through their narrower lense. She made it so much easier for me to participate in my treatment and turned a scary, chaotic time into a healing experience. I felt heard, respected, and cared for. I was very fortunate to be assigned Dr. Ghimire as my attending physician. The event would have been a 2-3 star experience OTHERWISE.
