Cruel and callous
Dr. Hindiyeh treats her patients like they are an irritation. She does not conduct a thorough exam or ask appropriate questions about their headaches. Too much time has elapsed and I cannot file a formal complaint about this doctor, but I really wish I was well enough to have done so while she was at Stanford where I was seen. Not shocked at all by the review below about her falsifying information on medical notes claiming to have fully examined the patient when she did not, because that was also my experience. I really hope that person filed a complaint

My first and worst neurologist I visited
Telehealth
I waited 4 months to see her after my husband insisted I go to Stanford. This woman had a fellow conduct my entire visit and then barely had 5 words to say to me after the fellow except that she thinks I have migraines. Did not ask my any other questions, how I was coping. Prescribed medication that did nothing. Did not even check in on me considering I was a having likely 12-15 days a month of just laying in bed. She then falsified information on the visit notes stating that she went over things she did not. I did not return to her or Stanford. I am still in awe as to how Stanford would hire such people.

Thoughtful professional
I just found out Dr. Nada Hindiyeh left Stanford this spring and I’m very sad to lose her. I wish I could follow her! I started seeing her in 2016 after my migraines became chronic in 2010. Six years into living with over 20 days a month of pain, she was the only doctor to ever get me to a point of reclaiming the life I once knew. She never stopped innovating new ideas for treatment. She was always available to see me and her team was very responsive. She administered injections in my scalp without traumatizing me which no one else has been able to do. She could inject the entire pattern across the scalp, neck and shoulders in less than five minutes. Her thoughtful creativity in using different approaches to managing my hormones and migraine pain was phenomenal. I drove up from Monterey Bay specifically to see her. I will always be grateful for her care.

Amazing-I'm crushed that she's left Stanford
I'm honestly not sure why there are so many negative reviews for Dr. Hindiyeh. I suspect that many of the issues people faced were more dueo to Stanford policies than due to Dr. Hindiyeh. I began seeing Dr. Hindiyeh in 2013. To say she saved my life is not overstating my situation. I literally travelled from 1/2 around the world to see her at one point, being so desperate to be sure to receive my treatment. I do not know what I will do now. She is patient, caring and knowledgeable. She keeps abreast of the most recent treatments and was navigated the very difficult situation at Stanford quite adeptly. I don't know Stanford has made getting treatment more and more difficult for patients, but being a patient at Stanford, especially for a condition like migraines which can be triggered by stress, has become a nightmare. Dr. Hindiyeh cannot be faulted for that situation.

Dr. Nada Hindiye was highly professional, involving, attentive to my headaches problems. She personally reviewed my symptoms with me in detail, ordered MR BRAIN W AND WO IV CONTRAST and prescribed appropriate pain medication. She's always available to get a refill and to make an appointment with her if needed.

I waited 2 mnths so see this dr. We traveled from Oakland, there were several accidents on our way. I still made it within the extra 15 minutes allotted to patients for late arrivals (Stanford's policy), but the doctor refused to take me. I asked to at least speak with the dr and was told was taking another patient. Not only did the dr not follow Stanford's policy but she didn't have the decency to speak w me, and flat out lied about taking another patient who wasn't even there. Speaks volumes.

I saw Dr. Hindiyah in 2014 after my Migraines had gotten so bad that I'd had to stop working and was looking for treatments. She basically gave me some prescriptions and said that because I didn't work my case wasn't severe enough to look at further. She wasn't in the exam room long and seemed very rushed. It took me another 6 months to a year to find a good neurologist after this experience.
