Very dismissive about my concerns, even made sarcastic comments. Became snippy and acted like she was inconvenienced by my complaints and questions. If I could give her 0 stars I would. She is not someone who should be in medicine or around patients.

Rude and Insensitive
Dr. Talia was extremely rude when my father was admitted into Shadyside ER. She never introduced herself, she was unsure about medications and care, and asked me why I was wondering around the hallways when I went to the restroom. She seemed very incompetent and I was nervous for my father to be in her care.

Five stars in every way
Dr Talia was impressive in each ability that counts, for a patient. First, she knew everything about my condition. Aneurysms are caused by atherosclerosis. When they rupture, death can occur within 15 minutes if not treated. Second, she communicated clearly. She explained what was needed, to determine how soon a rupture might occur. Third she showed compassion, and more. After six tests and exams, by her and others, I was ready to go home. Her care and conviction showed in her face, as she explained why I must stay. The head surgeon had not had time to review the ten-page report, for the CAT scan that she had ordered. She had seen other patients leave too soon, and collapse as they walked out of the hospital. She deserves five stars in every way.

She did not listen. You would think if you are checking someones stomach you would have them lay flat. Not her, She checked my stomach as I sat in a chair. And she should really learn to be compassionate.
