My son was diagnosied with EOE after going to the emergeency room for trouble swallowing. Needless to say I was assigned Dr. Al-Ansari and than passed off to a student doctor. Overall, I m dissatified with his lack of commuincation , condescending attitiude and lack of empathy He is not as commnicative as I would have liked being my sons illness and continued to talk to me like I was ignorant and wasting his time.

Misdiagnosed my child. Very much like a previous review, he did not listen. He came across very arrogant and was not at all descriptive in his instructions. Thankfully, I followed my gut and went to another dr who did the proper tests to diagnose my child correctly.

He kept interrupting me when I was telling him my concerns. Made comment and face that suggested I’m a horrible mom. Told me to use suppositories but didn’t say how they work so pharm had to explain. Didn’t explain diagnoses he wrote on chart. Ordered blood work, didn’t tell me what for. He probably knows what he’s doing as a doctor but he needs to be less rude and more communicative. We’re already anxious parents coming in to help our kids. We don’t need to deal with rude comments and judgment
