Dr. Nancy Brus, MD

Our appointment was virtual, due to patient's inability to travel relative to her long-term homebound status, recent injury due to slip/fall, as well as covid concerns relative to virus surge, patient age and patient's compromised immune system. No virtual exam was executed; patient was not assessed for general mobility, linear stance, swelling, bruising of back or extremities. Skin injury exam was deferred in that camera could not capture damage, and doctor stated it was likely able to be dealt with at home. Patient as well as two family participants felt quality of care was inadequate, and agreed that this physician appeared tired. I feel for folks in the medical field right now, they are justified in feeling overwhelmed, although in this instance some basics of care were not performed. Dr. Brus has years of experience, and I hope our next encounter with her is more worthwhile and productive.
