Judgy and didn't listen to concerns
I went in for an urgent concern that alarmed my partner, who is a nurse. My old OBGYN left the practice and I needed to find a new one. Dr. Church was available right away, but didn't seem to think my concern was a big deal. Instead, she focused on the fact that I have multiple partners. She did say it was good that I got the HPV vaccine when it came out, but that was the only positive thing I really heard from her. She said we could do an ultrasound if I was still concerned, but didn't seem to think it was necessary. Then, she neglected to tell me that I needed to schedule the ultrasound before she left the room, so I sat and waited for an hour before poking my head out and asking someone what was going on. Luckily, there are 8 other doctors at this practice to choose from. I'll take anyone over her.

Billing Issues
I’ve visited Dr. Church a couple of times and each time i had billing issues. I was charged for an office visit and a routine visit. The second time i had an appointment for my preventive routine visit i was charged for the pap. I shouldn’t have to correct billing each time I visit. Her billing department would not change the code to preventive. I had to pay. I will not be going back… too stressful.

Unhappy patient
I've been seeing dr church for over 10 yrs. She use to be good. But now she don't explain things anymore. My last 2 paps she didn't wash her hands, not even afterwards. (I should've confronted her). She don't return calls. When I mentioned that its not recommended that women not high risk get paps annually anymore, she said I should just come in anyway! Like do she just want the money!? Since she started with advocate things have gotten much worse. I see it's time for me to find a new obgyn.

I’ve gotten fat shamed and sl*t shamed by this doctor. I came in to get tested for STDs and she told me I was irresponsible for not using protection. She also gave me very bad vibes when talking about how many s*xual partners I’ve had. She has shamed my sister for getting her n*pples pierced. If you want to get judged for every little thing, go to this doctor. She needs to retire already.

I have been seeing Dr. Church since I was 16, I highly recommend her to others. She was my mom's doctor and I didn't think much about seeing her, but on my first visit I was very nervous. She definitely saw this and was very caring and took extra time to make sure I was feeling okay and explained everything to me before she did anything. I am now 23, and I have felt like she actually have a relationship with her and she remembers me personally, she always asks about my life and remembers I am in nursing school.

I have been a patient of Dr. Church for several years and recently had a most rewarding experience. In fact, it was one of the best patient-physician encounters that I ever had. The appointment was actually with my aged mother (90 years old) and Dr. Church took the time to listen to her, listen to me, carefully explain her thoughts about our concerns, and, in general, spent far more time with us than I anticipated. Dr. Church clearly demonstrated not only her professional competence, but her real concerns about my mother's health and well-being. I cannot thank her enough! ~ ER

Dr. Church is my OB/Gyne physician and I have visited her regularly for the past ten years and will CONTINUE to do so. I recommend her to all of my friends. What makes her SPECIAL is that she seems keenly interested in my health and happiness and always remembers the names of my family. She takes the time to explain things to me in words that I understand. I appreciate that. She's the best!

Outstanding physician in terms of knowledge and patient care. She listens and gives me quality time. Unlike a different practice in the area with multiple physicians, Dr. Church allows time with the patient and doesn't try to meet some quota of seeing a dozen patients an hour. The time she spends is quality time. I have visited her many times and have had not only a delivery (C-Section) but a hysterectomy using the robotic system. She is technologically superb and state of the art.

Dr. Church delivered both of my children; she was very kind during my labor & delivery with my first child; she took the time to talk to me and remind me that I am indeed a strong woman. She has always been upfront, thorough and genuinely concerned for my well-being. I am completely comfortable telling her anything--she is my trusted medical professional. I recommend her to first time Moms and women from all walks of life. She clearly enjoys what she is doing and it shows.
