Dr. Nancy Girard, DO

Dr.Girard has been my doctor since l994 when she correctly diagnosed a condition my previous doctor has dismissed as middle-age spread, and which was actually a tumor. She saved my life. She is an excellent, caring doctor who is responsive to her patients' needs, and who will go the extra mile to help find solutions to their problems. My husband and I are very happy with her as our doctor, and would never consider going to another practice.

We both just had our annual physicals. These can cause a fair amount of stress, however Dr. Nancy Girard’s genuine professionalism and caring manner immediately put us at ease. She scheduled plenty of time to thoroughly cover our exams as well as all of our medical review and questions. Our medical history is quite involved and she explained so many things...options, treatments and potential outcomes. We felt very comfortable with our treatment plans and appreciated the concern she shared

Dr. Girard always listens to any concerns that I have. She is very thorough in her exams, exploring all options when I have a problem. I have been going to Dr. Girard for over 10 years and have recommended her to others.

Dr. Girard is a kind, caring, compassionate and realistic person. She is upfront with her patients and is there for them as much as possible. She is far more involved in her patient's treatment than most doctors today. Patients at other office seen their doctors for what 10....15 minutes? Doctor Girard goes above and beyond that spending upwards of 60 minutes with each patient. People who hide behind anonymous reviews rather than voicing their concerns in person do nothing to make a difference.

I am a new patient of doctor Girard’s and I have cancer. I called on Monday with a health concern related to my cancer and it is now Friday and I have still heard nothing from her or her office. This is no way to treat an elderly patient with cancer. I’m looking for a new doctor.

Dr. Girard does not care about her geriatric patients, she talked about dying numerous times in front of my elderly patient who was sick, not dying, and does not want to treat this patient but instead gave advice to call hospice. This lady has zero bedside manner and skills. She should change the specialty of her office from Family Practice to Family Practice minus Geriatric Care because she doesn’t care at all about our Geriatric Population!!
