2013 I had two Surgeries in one. A partial hysterectomy and gall bladder removal. Dr Loughridge made it happen for me as I didn't want to have to do 2 Surgeries. She coordinated with other dr and also saved me from being cut open by the other male dr. Went to her last year and she was able to help me with more woman issues.

Upon my initial two visits with Dr. Loughridge, her bedside manner was amazing! I felt comfortable and confident in her abilities. I chose Dr. Loughridge because of her use of laser and the trim method. I had my procedure a week ago and first of all, she clipped a piece of my labia without any medication because it was only going to “take 2 seconds”. I was also a bit confused because I was offered no antibiotic even after I asked. Everywhere I read that you should use antibiotics for 5 days following the procedure. I left my appt with no pain and took no pain meds. Ffwd to day 5 and I have an infection. I’m sure it’s not a coincidence that it started in the same area that she clipped with no pain meds. I am in excruciating pain and can’t sleep which is why I’m up writing this review at 3am. I feel like all of this could’ve been prevented. And can’t help but wonder if this is a textbook case for black women, “having higher pain tolerance”, so let them suffer. I’m LIVID!!!

Dr. Laughbridge is an amazing doctor. She delivered my two boys (12 and 6yo today). Both of my birth experiences were wonderful thanks to the doctor. She is highly skilled professional, carring and kind doctor. I am forever thankful for my two healthy children mostly because of the doctor Laughbridge.

I saw Dr. Loughridge when pregnant with my first child in 2002 and then again in 2015 when I was having issues and needed some care. She sat with me and answered my HUGE list of questions and I didn't feel rushed. We tried several options and after a time decided that hysterectomy was the best option. Dr. L performed my hysterectomy and made sure I fully understood everything. I highly recommend her. She's a rare gem that will listen to you, educate you and treat you with kindness.
