I would not recommend to family and friends. Every time I go there, I wait at least an hour to be seen. During my wait it is common to see drug reps getting called in before me. I.e., she is prioritizing seeing drug salespeople over patients. Then, once I'm seen, Dr. Tactuk is typically abrupt and arrogant. I only ended up with Dr. Tactuk when my previous doctor, who she shared a practice with, died. I've not previously tried to change doctors because of the hassle of trying to find someone new. Now, I've just tried to make an appointment, after having waited over a year due to the pandemic, and I was told I would have to "fill out an application" for the right to continue as a patient, "since it has been so many years." It has been less than two years, and THERE WAS A PANDEMIC going on! This was the last straw; I'll be looking for a new doctor. I'm certainly not going to grovel for permission to see someone who is not very good anyway. Unbelievable.

She can be harsh and unapproachable. She was condescending at my last visit and misdiagnosed me. Consequently, the medicine she prescribed exacerbated the pain. I could have been more understanding if she had returned my two calls following. Neither she nor her nursing staff called me back. Thankfully, after seeing a different doctor who sent me to the ER, I was able to get a proper diagnosis and treatment.

Most (not all) of the office staff is rude. Dr. Tactuk could be a really good physician if she would listen and toss the judgmental attitude. If the patient tells her that something is not working for them, she should not dismiss it and tell them why is should be working. At least, explore further to find out exactly what the patient is trying to say. I must say that she is a very knowledgeable physician and will certainly order the necessary tests that are necessary to provide a proper diagnosis. She should not have an LPN calling with test results , medication changes, etc. if he is not knowledgeable about the information in which he is giving as he has certainly given me some incorrect information. He can really be rude, specifically when you question him. They only have certain times for labs and flu shots outside of your appointment times, but the times in no way meet the demands of working adults.

Was a patient of Dr. Stefanescu's since 1990's and I tried to stay with Dr. Tactuk due to existing relationship with original staff and for consistency of my care but impossible to schedule and rude new office staff. I will go without regular medical care rather than subject myself to such treatment.
