Everyone at the Breast Center was amazing. I had 2 mammograms, an ultrasound biopsy, a tracer inserted and a lumpectomy by Dr. Wendel. It could not have gone better, and the communication was phenomenal.

Compassionate, helped me with my mastectomy choice
Dr. Wendel was my Dr. for my double mastectomy in 2019. She helped me decide the best choice for me. She answered every single one of my gazillion questions, gave me all the tools and information for me to make a well informed, life changing decision. Before and after surgery, she was very caring, and compassionate. Every follow up appointment was helpful in my healing and each exam over the years was a breeze! Now that Im past my follow-ups with her, I miss her manner. She is clear, and direct in conversations, and I always felt like she could relate to what I was going through through-out the process, from beginning to end. Worth traveling over an hour to see!

I felt I received very good care with a double mastectomy performed by Dr. Wendel. She is a very good surgeon and I highly recommend her as a surgeon.

Excellent surgeon. I had surgery In 2019 no .pain afterwards and attentive follow up care. Office staff is wonderful.

Ive seen Dr. Wendell for about 2.5 years and each time she didn’t seem familiar with my medical history this last visit was most disappointing. After completing my breast exam she asked when I had my last mammogram. Well since I had a 2x mastectomy I didn’t think that was necessary. Are you kidding me? You just gave me a breast exam and have my chart in the counter! Never again.

I was referred to Dr. Wendel after receiving results of an abnormal mammogram. I found her to be knowledgeable, professional, straight forward as well as reassuring. I appreciate her compassion as well as her time as she took the time to answer my questions no matter how small. Her staff was courteous, professional as well as friendly. I would like to express my appreciation to Dr. Wendel and her staff for their care and for my well-being.
