My husband's experience was very similar to Cape Coral FL, but only she let his P.S.A. go up to 3 after his prostate surgery and follow up radiation. When my husband finally asked for a scan, they found a 3.4 x 3.2 x 4.6 cm tumor.

I had prostate surgery, and follow up radiation and chemotherapy some years ago. When my PSA slowly rose over the subsequent four years from 0 to 1 (which is NOT supposed to happen following those procedures), I consulted Dr. Haas. She showed mild interest but no urgency, and almost reluctantly scheduled a bone scan and MRI. I had another urologist look at those test results and reports, and he urged me to settle on an oncologist to direct my next phase of care. It was not Dr. Haas
